2011.03.10-Billie and Shawn POI in the case per "Bring Them Home"

Does anyone else think that Clint knows Billie is POI? The reason I am asking this is becuase of his attitude the other night he did NOT at all seem happy with Billie. You could tell that he was angered towards her. He said they are not on the same page at all when it comes to Hailey and that she's been stand offish. IDK his whole attitude toward Billie just makes me wonder.

I'm sure he has suspected it. He'd have to be in denial in a major way not to suspect her. I also think LE probably warned him about what was going to be said by the hosts of BTH tonight, so he wouldn't be blindsided.

I still think there is a cloud of disturbance brewing out there that we don't know about yet...I think the investigation had many branches for LE to look into.

The statements seemed pretty specific; I can't imagine they weren't given that info by someone in some official capacity.

What bothers me is they started the show and immediately they thought they had Billie on the line and tried to get her connected in but it wasn't her or they couldn't get it to work or something. Then they mentioned that they were told not to have her or Shawn on the show. Then they talk to Hyatt and then they have Billie on the line. Why did they have her on if they were told not to? Something is not right.

Maybe the fine line of BD being a "guest" on the show as opposed to BD just calling in to the show.

I don't think he trusts Billie. Never has, never will...BUT!!!! He has to keep her close to try and get info on Hailey. You heard him say he was all alone out here. He has no one. I really thought the 911 people might take him in and help him. Maybe they are, but he is going to fall apart when the realization that Hailey may be gone forever hits him. I think he is trying to do whatever he can to find Hailey and he is grasping at any straw he can, even if that straw is as revolting to him as Billie, to find her. That is why I think LE does not consider him a POI and never has as PH discussed tonight.

They didn't call BD, she called them. The announcement may have been a squeeze play to see how she would react. LE can tell her not to talk but, at the moment, they can't make her be quiet. I don't think she is capable of being quiet.

But why? Why would she call? What could she possibly gain?Not questioning you Tezi...just myself I guess...was she gonna try to run interference here? If so then she has a big ole set.
Or was that the normal plan...the guest calls in as planned or do they usually call the guests? Announce it and then see if she calls in?

Nana, I feel like it's for her sense of needing to control everything. She thinks that she can control the investigation, the media, ect....And I agree, she has a big ole set.....

Actually, I'm not really sure what you mean. PH seems pretty straight up to me. Can you fill me in?

I love him and appreciate his blogs and shows. However he does push the envelope, and kind of crosses the line at times.
One recent example was when he had the long interview with Clint, and according to some it was off the record, yet he published it. I think there was even a discussion about a lawsuit in response, IDK.

So it did cross my mind that, it is possible, that he went a bit overboard in trying to get this chance to interview Billie live on the air, under pressure.

I only considered this as a possibility because Kampfer has denied the LE statement, and Bea seemed so distraught I am certain she didn't make it up. That just leaves PH. I know he would do anything to help find Hailey, so maybe he thought this was one way to help. IDK

That's like telling Nancy Grace not to have someone on I don't know, but I think it could have been a reverse-psychology thing to me. LE telling her not to talk to Shawn (she does), and perhaps the media (she does). How does the media stop her from calling in (or did they call her back - don't know). But as far as I know, LE doesn't control the media, so I'm not sure they would have any legal say anywhoo.

If it keeps BJD talking I'm all for it!!!

I think it may be as simple as she can't stand people bashing/badmouthing her.

well I have just finished listening, and I think I have caught up in the threads. I have defended BD more than once, but geesh, don't think I can do that anymore!!!!

I felt so sorry for Bea when she broke down. I could tell by her last interview (last week?) that she was 100% behind BD, and whatever they found out today, she felt it hard.

I am a little concerned about the LE statement, and why PK didn't confirm it (thank you nannymo for calling the local media!) *sigh* I am hoping that local media will pick up on this tomorrow and get us something straight from LE. The only thing I can think of is that maybe LE is hoping that after this 'bombshell' SA and BD will talk to each other, and if they are bugged, maybe they are hoping to hear that conversation? whether they talk about what happened, maybe talk about fleeing?

BD has been talking talking talking.... isn't that what LE wants a POI or suspect to do? she hasn't lawyered up YET, so let her keep talking? I don't know. It is a bit confusing, and I won't be surprised if BD has a lawyer soon. And then she may never talk.

She sat there forever before answering the question about SA....?

The way she processess the questions just floors me...maybe I answer too quick....but then I don't see her as being quick thinking at all....it is like she gives half an answer or a confusing answer........I cannot explain it.
I am just gonna sit here and continue to be confused.

I wouldnt doubt she knows what he has said about her. Clint was upset by him already wasnt he? Clints mom and her mom are friends and Clints mom is very chatty. That would explain why Billy just assumed none of it was true as she may really be used to hearing stuff where none of it is true,but she couldnt really tell peter if it was or not. Second hand.

Bea and Racheals show went very smooth tonight without the umms.. and ahs and the meshing of the co host questions. Almost like it was more prepaired then normal. I found that extremely odd giving the shocking show they had in store for us.
The show is wonderful and I like them very much but under stress on the air they pause ,speak at the same time and take few longer than they should seconds to answer or ask a question from their notes even. So why none of that tonight? The hang up thing most of the time has them re calling and watching the phones. MOO
