2011.03.10-Billie and Shawn POI in the case per "Bring Them Home"

I think LE is going to let everyone sweat it out over the weekend and that we probably won't hear anything until maybe Monday. It would certainly give POI's enough time to panic and hopefully slip up. BD sounded very defensive last night, and interesting how both her and SA reacted over the whole 'plea' deal suggestion.

I also feel that whatever happened to Hailey was likely horrible beyond words, and taped Just a sick feeling I've had this whole time, based on what we've learned about the personalities and interests of the 2 POI.

One more thought, I wonder if LE has been in touch with CZ and maybe has inside info (like secretly recorded conversations).

The very opening of the show , Bea is welcoming their 1st guest, Billie Jean.
It was no surprise to them that Billie was going to be on the show.
After them saying that they could see Billie's call coming through, asking Billie if she was there, not being able to connect with Billie, they make the announcement of what they have found out, but their intentions, right in the beginning of the show, was to talk to Billie, after supposedly being asked by LE not to have her or Shawn on their show.
Were their intention's to tell Billie what they were told, by LE?
This has me very baffled.

If the unimaginable has happened to Hailey, I hope that everyone involved pays to the fullest extent. If it is a capitol offense, give them the max punishment and NO plea bargain.

Hailey was worth so much more than the garbage she was subjected to. IMHO

I called C City PD and asked if an official statement would be made today regarding the Hailey Dunn case. I was referred to "City Hall". Option 3 at city hall, is PK, choose it and you get City Secretary's voice mail (twice in a row). Tried 0 for a receptionist and you also get voice mail. Does Texas do furlough days like California?

Oh but she didn't lose her attitude... even when she switched from a definitive answer to a not so definitive one.

I back up others when they say if you have not LISTENED to the radio show you need to do so in order to get the full effect.

I truly expected to hear Billie get mad at Bea and say "OMG calling you was such a waste..." when she got upset.

I truly felt I could be listening to Casey Anthony. Billie was nasty, rude, hateful, angry, spiteful and scary.

I want to see her on Nancy with that attitude. Let her talk to Nancy and Marc like that and see how far it gets her. :innocent:

The reading of the statement is about 1:45 - 4:00...

Billie comes on about 29:00 and then by 45:00 she is done and Bea has made her plea.

I noticed every single one of her answers prior to and after this were either "yeah", "no", "exactly", "right" or "I don't know." This is the only one she where she says, "I guess."

That way they will know exactly what happened, not having to believe any suspects.

That way they can nail them for everything that happened, no "there isn't enough evidence to charge them with ____."

That way there will not be any doubt and everyone will know what happened.

If it was not taped it is also possible that a memento was kept... like serial killers keep clothes, or hair or something like that. Maybe they can find that.

Though without searching the prime suspect's two primary residences I doubt they are going to find anything. :banghead:

Billie's brother D talked fondly of Shawn... and shared some interests with him. Given they are about the same age I wouldn't think it'd be a stretch that they might be friends. Shawn said they had friends over... Billie said family. Her brother might be Shawn's friend and her family.

David is living with Billie's oldest brother Roger. The younger brother Del is about the same age as Shawn. I wonder if they were good friends?

Regarding the BTH interview.
Was PH scheduled to be on or when did they get him to fill in? How did that come about?
I just cant see any reasonable explanation to corner BD and freak her out by telling us she was a poi and then having PH question her if they hoped to keep her coming back on as a guest. It seems like it would help find Hailey if BD & Shawn keep talking and confiding in the hosts. I dont see why LE wouldnt use the show as a undercover sting, hoping to achieve something, but I also think they would want someone who BD trusts (Bea) to keep her talking. Maybe by cutting her off from the show it is forcing BD to go elsewhere to keep talking somewhere LE feels would make more progress. Yep, LE must be mighty tired of playing BD's games, someone must be profiling BD & SA and they are working with that info to divide and conquer this crime. LE is corralling these two into the direction they want them, what is that last thing LE wants before making an arrest? To find Haileys body?
All this seems very calculated by LE. I trust LE knows exactly what they are doing.
Let's bring Hailey home! My prayers for a swift homecoming-this has gone on too long. Beautiful Hailey deserves justice!

I believe BJD showed just a "lil bit" of emotion last night on BTH, cant wait to see her head spin like linda blair when LE cuffs her

LOL I was wondering last night when someone would call CCPD. Good try Knox, but not surprised by the results. I wonder what the result would have been last night when City Hall was closed? Then again, would we really have learned anything if we got an answer from PK?

I wish R & B would have given their direct source last night. Either things are beginning to all fall into place for LE or someone within the agencies is really pizzed and we now have the "great silence".

I didn't quite understand that last night either, but then I was reading through it all as fast as possible. The whole scenario is puzzling. Most of the time the media stays more aloof from cases like this in order to avoid meddling with an important case.

Maybe the excitement over a "scoop" was more important than protecting their sources in LE? If so, they probably made a big mistake in making that particular announcement then having BD on their show.

When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. That's all I can say.

I dont think it was helping find Hailey. It was just a way for bd & sa to play games. It only showed me their mentality and lack of understanding for what is really important. Hailey. And i don't think bd trusts anybody. She was thankful to have a soft spot to spin her woes but ultimately imo she'll never trust anyone enough to reveal her role in what happened to her daughter. She'll deny to the end imo.
I love thinking about the profilers sitting there planning that yesterday. Makes sense and was smart imo. It was the only time i heard fire from bd. Shame on her for wasting that fire on sa instead of finding Hailey.
