Now that she has a lawyer, my assumption is the trespassing order is moot, and SA can now live happily ever after in BJD's home. After all, she's not speaking to the media or LE - so she can do whatever she wants!

maybe he was pointing out LE had no right to go to BD's door because they wanted to "talk". Without a serving warrent they were there why? to talk to someone who does not live there?

That's what I thought too! The only way his commenting about it would make sense is if it has something to do with BD's charges and the only one I can think of is the lying to LE. But lying is lying....well maybe not in Billieland

LE can always ask you to talk to them, if you don't have a lawyer. There is nothing that forces you to comply. You never have to answer any questions at all if you don't want to. But if you do answer, you can't lie, in the midst of a felony investigation.

you would think in the eyes of the law, if a suspect is in your house and LE knocks and says is "suspect" there, you're obligated to tell the truth....warrant or no warrant.
Well, if this is the start of her defense, things may get interesting

If a suspect was in my house and they had a warrent I wouldnt have to tell them anything. LE is completely in their rights to come and get the suspect without me saying or doing a thing. The fact they even bothered with her at all has me questioning why they were really there in the first place and what they wanted to talk about.

The Mitchell County District Attorney's office and the Mitchell County Sheriff's Office say they served two search warrants last week, one for the Adkins family home in Dunn and one for Adkins.
