"For am item Akins commonly carries with him"...so what do guys commonly carry? Knife, wallet, keys, phone..............and if it wasn't "on" him, did he ditch whatever it was a BD's house?

cell phone? Someone mentioned possibly a memory stick on his key chain -- which wouldn't suprise me.

Authorities say it's too early to tell if additional child was discovered in the search of Shawn Adkins' grandmother's home in Dunn Thursday evening.
Mitchell County Sheriff Patrick Toombs says a number of electronic devices were removed from the home. Those devices will be sent for testing.

Toombs says this is the third search of the home in Dunn, Texas. He said the second search was consensual. Toombs noted was discovered in the second search, but he couldn't confirm it to be child . Toombs says the images are in the process of being analyzed.

She sure has some nerve lying to a LEO. I couldn't do it! And for someone who is "really looking for her daughter" - this doesn't help her much.

Why would LE want to help her now? Knowing what a liar she is?

If it was something they had hung on to this long, I'm wondering if they would just "ditch" it even after last night. Maybe they need a search warrant for her (BD's) house again now. Great point, although cops do say "on him" for something a perp is carrying, such as "the guy had drugs on him".

If he had his phone why wouldn't he have called her himself? This just makes sense, he knew the warrants were served and Gma's house was being searched. I think he intentionally ditched that phone.

Could it be BD wanted him to leave and he wouldn't? Could that be why she called his mom? Oh here we go again...

I wonder if it could be a pocket knife. A know a few men that carry them. Then again, maybe he lost something around the scene, key(s), id, watch, necklace/chain? LE found something, what to link it back to SA? Maybe in some of the pictures he's wearing a chain or watch and they found one? Gosh I feel like we're playing I spy.

IIRC during hers and SA's BTHN interviews, the hosts seemed to know that there were pics exchanged between him and a female on the same day Hailey went missing. Tells me LE has / had already talked to the person w/ whom these pics were exchanged.

ABILENE, Texas -- An Abilene man was sentenced to more than 7 years in federal prison on a child charge.

46 year old Steven Lee Peyton was sentenced by District Judge Sam Cummings to 87 months in prison, followed by a lifetime of supervised release for receiving child .

Peyton pleaded guilty last December on the charge and was taken into custody immediately following the sentencing.
