Officials close to the case now believe missing Colorado City teenager Hailey Dunn is dead.

I wonder what "specifically" was found that points to that? That she didn't take anything with her when she left, the changing stories, or did they actually find evidence in the landfill searches when they said yes we did, no we didn't, oh well maybe we found something but it might not be connected to Hailey's case but oh yeah it could be? Because I have seen them mention all of the above....

Ok, seriously. I do think something was found in the landfill searches. They sure seemed intent on finding something at one of the landfills. I think they had good info, or at least what they thought was good info to lead them there.

She has not been seen or heard from by anyone other than the only suspect since December 26th. There were three "sightings" on the 27th all of them discredited by LE. That alone would lead one to believe that she is no longer alive.

Every other missing case I have followed had a multitude of (mis)sightings around it. This one...Nothing. No sightings whatsoever. Strange but true. Even the Anthony's managed to russle up some interesting leads. Here, nothing. HD has not bee sighted anywhere. By anyone credible. AND NO ONE has even mentioned potentially having seen her after the 27th. NOT ONE SINGLE SIGHTING.

There was one about being seen in a "redcar" that made it to bigcountry IIFC, but it was worked out pretty quick and it actually turned out to be an older woman. And CD mentioned one but no one has taken any of them seriously.

CD was running back and forth to Odessa for a while there, based on tips he received or read on FB or something. There were reported sightings in Odessa, per CD. MSM didn't really pick up on those alleged sightings and I haven't heard of any since.

I think LE was following up on a tip in Tennessee at one point, too. I can't recall if it was Memphis or Nashville. Maybe someone else can remember this better than I can. Sometimes I feel like this case has been going on for more than 3 months.

I do remember this as well but I cannot find the source. Regardless, it panned out (like the few others) into nothing.

As for "specific" reasons LE may believe Hailey is not alive, they have a lot of things and circumstances from which to pick: drugs in the home, SA's homemade horror video and mask collections, BD and SA's collection of true crime stories and horror movies, child sexual abuse videos and images, and the list goes on and on.

And that's just the stuff we know about. LE may have something else.

NOt a single sighting. Anywhere. Not even on all the bs that has cropped up in FB. What would any normal person conclude? She's gone. And they've hidden her very very WELL (I'm afraid).

LE is controling all of the information so if they do not believe she has been seen ,we wont believe it either.

And they believe she is dead.

Out side of Texas She isnt in much danger of being spotted. If she is ,somewhere like Maryland who would notice.
