I'd listen to Mark Eiglarsh read the phone book...the ingredient list on a box of cereal, the safety standards for using a blender.... :innocent:

ITA...he does impress me as a defense atty.....Debra O. impressed me last night---most of the time I just don't like them and there version of searching for the truth.....they may be searching but not the truth...

Did anyone else love it when JA said one of the weeks he was scheduled for jury duty but thought perhaps HHJP could get him out of it???

Okay, so I was here, I watched the hearing - but I missed the whole point of the hearing - what was it? Cadieux out, psyche experts doing depo next week by State, HHJP received reports by email - and why were we having this hearing???

I don't "get it". :whoosh:

:waitasec:

I didn't get it either...But interesting that HHJP didn't call them reports---he initially refered to them as "letters"......

This could have been handled by phone.

I appreciated this hearing for a couple of reasons.

- No Baez - It is interesting to see the change in atmosphere.

- CM - This as the first contact with the HHJBP after accusing him of bias.
- We can see that without Baez, CM is still a jerk.

- JA - He is still trying to get the digs in ("jerky in here too") so he is harbouring some bad feeling related to CM and not just JB.

- KC - This is the first time in a long time that we have seen her "down", for whatever reason. (Maybe she missed her Baez...I'm sure he will be happy to read this...he didn't get to wink at his girl today.)

It was just interesting...and I have to say that I enjoy these hearings with all of the twists and turns... The longer the better! (What can I say? I'm addicted to the drama!)

No reason for her to incur the expense of an attorney and getting to an office to do a depo by WebEx, simply for the Defense games in showing that George is an angry person.

The State depo of Patricia Young was 30 minutes, or less. Not a significant defense witness apparently.

My guess is Sharon wants no part of this. My feelings are they should have never been there in the first place. They could have made their feelings known at the A's Command Center.

And I think this one will backfire on defense. Most people are very protective of their home and don't want a group of people standing outside watching their every move. jmo

The Hearing was an opportunity for the Defense to show good cause for adding the witnesses past deadline, and for the State to object to the adding of the witnesses.

But, Ashton and Mason tried to work it out between themselves before the Hearing this morning. There is no problem with 4 of the 6 new witnesses, but Ashton is waiting until after the depositions of Dr. Danziger and Dr. Weitz (on April 7th), to decide if the State will object to the Defense adding these two new witnesses past the deadline, decide if the Defense good cause is not good enough.

The State has already taken the depositions of the other possible new Defense witnesses, Patricia Young and Daniel Kondos -- the State Atty Lewis is not necessary to depose because the State is not calling Maya Derkovic, and the Defense withdrew Sharon Cadieux. So, LDB said the State is not prejudiced by the Defense adding the new witnesses (except for Danziger and Weitz).

Same Jomo, same. What a waste of tax payer monies to pull ICA out for that, poor old Floridians.

ICA was not a happy camper today, lots of sighs, down turned mouth, very fidgety when not given her crayons and scrapbook to work on, big dark circles under her eyes - she seemed to enjoy the little joke by Mason re 830 am v's 900 am start tomorrow, seems to me it is still all happening to someone else for ICA until reality seeps in a little for a brief second or two.

I think JA's Jerky comment was due to the bad weather they had IMO. THe news this morning said Central Florida got pounded with violent storms yesterday.

"Smart man has a smart phone" :great:

He was checking his calendar regarding the two new witnesses' depos next week.

Central counties have been under a tornado and severe weather watch, have been all morning.

This could have been handled by phone.

But if it had been handled by phone we would have never seen HHJP's expression when he asked if those "reports" received by JA were the same as his, just emails, from both doctors. Amazing that both doctors sent emails in lieu of a formal report. Are they psychic???? lol
