What did JA say before approaching- "discovery violation" it sounded like.

Due to this forum's "no insults" policy, I will not be making any references to any similarities in appearance between this witness and a second-generation televangelist with a drinking problem.

Awilda McBride...Why doesn't this woman say this bay stunk of decomp, not garbage...Glad JA brought that fact up...must distinguish the smell was from the trunk of the car and not that bag of garbage...subject to recall

CA on the stand...July 15, 2008..do you recall when your husband arrived home with pontiac sunfire...what did you do with car..odor in trunk of car, entire car had odor...GA went on to work, CA stayed behind for a little bit...about 45 minutes..what I had done..several items in car, packback, mama doll..sprayed entire car with febreeze and dryer sheets throughout the car...did you close the trunk, seal the car..no I left it open...let it open that night, shut the garage door...came back home 5:30-6:00...after police came car pulled out of garage...CA tell the truth woman....:maddening: if you tell the truth once, you never have to remember what is said...

chloroform...JA asks if she had choloform in the car, house...never been around chloroform...pg 323 line 10....looks like a dryer sheet, I dont' remember putting it there, I don't recall that dryer sheet...ahh caught in a lie...

I'm still wondering why she was called to testify in the first place.

because SOMEBODY besides Casey had to put those chloroform soaked dryer sheets in the Pontiac, and spray them with a little chloroform loaded Febreeze just for good measure....<<<channeling Dr. Vass>>> duh. :seeya:

...going to stick my head in the dryer and drink a bottle of Febreeze....

I think we should take up a collection and send JB to a public speaking class

  • #227
oh, does the defense read here, no binders, no babysitters today

  • #228
What? No one is stepping up to sit with ICA today. She is going to be livid.

  • #229
My vibe is that this Furton guy looks like he'd like to be anywhere else but in this courtroom being questioned.

  • #230
ICA blinking alot, medicated today, to keep down the fidgeting and tics?

  • #231
The defense must have read the thread about whether or not it was a good idea for Casey to be playing the part of the defense. The table is less colored. No coloring box that I can see. No babysitter. She's paying attention to the testimony.

Did JA say "We have a discovery violation?"

:waitasec: That is what I heard to. Hmm... Is it me or is this witness boring?

  • #233
fabric softner sheets...they are going to claim that is where the cloroform came from....jmo:maddening:

Okay, if that were true, I'd knock myself out everytime I did the laundry! Actually, I'd knock myself out everytime I opened the dang box of dryer sheets. The ones I use have a strong smell!

Furton said he's had ONE peer-reviewed paper published in 2003 and two of his students have had their thesis published. If I'm on the jury and I have to choose to believe AV or Furton, AV wins hands down.

5 min courtroom break

Casey laughing and talking about her favorite subject...herself! to her handler

  • #238
Can't help but notice that KC has been provided with yellow legal pad and pen but NO documents to review for "notes"....instead, she appears to be TRYING to appear as if she is paying attention to testifying witness in order to take notes...

which makes me wonder even more....does DT read here and realized the "doc review" scenario was not being bought by us??!!!

ICA very animated about her sweater this morning while she talks to Medina. She keeps pointing down to her sweater or pants, and now maybe her shoes.

There is is sitter now. I wonder why they had to take a 5 min rec? I heard Ashton say something about discovery violation wonder if that is why they have to take 5?
