The gloves are off, folks, and the play-nice time is over.

This is slightly embarassing. JA is one angry dude and discussing sanctions that were previously applied. Hearings are not a free for all, and JA voice continues to get louder.

Ruh-Roh.....

  • #323
JA counsel has a duty to tell us. clearly this is willful and deliberate ambush

  • #324
"I know what I heard and my co-counsel Mr. Mason heard it as well." ROTFLMAO! How many times are they going to pull this?

Mason HEARD it? How very selective of him

  • #325
JA explaining that HHJP never said that hearings are a free for all and discovery rules don't apply.

  • #326
JA - This is CLEARLY AMBUSH! Sanctions should be issued.

  • #327
Temper temper Jose...watch that now.

It would be in prior court reporter records about the rules applying to trial and hearings, should be easy to find.

  • #328
Raise your hand if you knew as well as JA that Baez was gonna pull this move!!!

:seeya:

JA says cousel has a duty to disclose this info and it shouldn't be a surprise. He says this is willful and deliberate ambush. Says there is a violation to discovery rules, appropriate sanctions should be utilized.

  • #330
JA asking for sanctions.

LINKS Please - am away from home with son in hospital from having another surgery - #6 in 4yrs for MRSA reinfections,
THANKS.

Considering how angry JA really is, he is doing a much better job maintaining his composure in court. Good job, Ashton! :)

  • #333
When is it going to occur to JB that every time he tries to pull a stunt like this JA is going to pin him to the mat and show him explicitly as the fool he is for the world to see? The judge is going to grow tired of this very quickly.

  • #334
BAEZ - To say this is willful, is as big a stretch as the science they are trying to use.

  • #335
Jb trying to make SA out to be liars on this? The facts speak for themselves.

  • #336
Schooling a judge NEVER ends well. Sheesh, Baez! It really is April Fool's day! Your day!

  • #337
deliberate and willful violation....of discovery rules...clearly intent to ambush...

IF he did follow up, he should have informed the state...that is what JA is getting at...Baez wants that Aha moment when he ambushes the state..

  • #338
jb he gave this opinion, he did the follow up to represent to the court in an honest truthful way. i don't see how that could be wrong - it was not prompted by counsel it was on his own. i understand the states frustration that the witness followed up on his depo

HHBP he researched and changed his opinion?

jb no he did not - he held the same opinion - never changed opinion ever. the case mr ashton is referring to is wrong for that fact

JB trying to say counsel never told him to study up? Then explain how you knew to question him on it, you unique person you?
