Don't you just love that Tru TV keeps talking about CA's "conflicted" testimony but never goes to "If your, wonderful daughter was so innocent, the MOTY, why is all her testimony full of discrepancies? Could it be because CA knows KC is guilty? Why would you cover up for an innocent person?"

Sorry, just irritated. I see all my friends are here today...and a lot of guests...

No matter what your opinion is...please join and post here...then you can disagree or agree with me...or because I am so vain, you can thank my posts...lol. You can't do that if you are a guest.

Excuse me. Jean C just said on In Sessions that Baez is bringing up some great points
Today. Maybe it me, I didn't hear any great points coming from Baez yet.

I try not to listen to Jean C. anymore...she has become a huge defense-sucker-upper! :maddening:

Tot mom in court today! New theory emerges: tot mom defense may try to blame George Anthony for Caylee's murder! Nancy Grace has all the latest, breaking news only on HLN

IF they cover this tonight, which they have said before and don't, it will be JC covering it who looovvees JB almost as much as JVM. IMO

NG is three days behind on this one....GA's attorney has already made a statment about this scenario......

The judge was mainly talking to JA during his warning....allowing JB to make a mockery of his courtroom and him is not what I expected. Guess ICA has won over another male.

Forced to donate to United Way? Is that even legal? Even with a sanction, the judge will collect the $100 for his fave charity??

A trial clerk said on InSession earlier that typically when a judge fines attorneys the money does go to a charity.

I don't think the judge was talking mainly to JA. JMHO

I've been needing a new avatar for a while now! Thank you Judge Perry!

So I didn't see it, but do I gather correctly that CA lied under oath, and that at the end of her testimony, her manipulative, murdering daughter FINALLY recognized her with a "Thank you"?????

Talk about reinforcing bad behavior. Seriously--KC won't so much as LOOK at her mother for MONTHS--Cindy doing everything to get her attention short of shooting off flares in the gallery--until she PERJURES herself??? And THAT gets a THANK YOU?

It's noon here. I'm opening the bar.

Don't let it get to you Mitzi - just remember the only thing she's interested in is stirring the pot to generate ratings revenue. That's it. Really. There really is no other agenda. I mean, it's valuable to pretend there is, but this is just business, and business is good.

And I would recommend keeping that in mind when watching ANY media report of ANYTHING.

I can't decide if we're closer to "Network" or "Idiocracy"

Yes it is legal. I know several attorneys that were admonished (for other reasons) and were forced to donate to the local homeless shelter. It had something to do with a homeless person and the attorneys were being less than kind that day.

United Way and Unicef are two charities that actually put the most money into what they do, as far as I have read, I stopped looking it up in about 2000.

HHJP: "I don't have a hearing problem...yet"

CM poor thing....has missed all of this. HAHA

$$$ to United Way OR go on the records.

Does CM even know what is going on? Is his hearing aide turned off?

The thing is JA is letting JB win here. JB knows he has gotten to JA and with the $100 thing - JB pushed ALL of JA's buttons with that stipulation. That really got JA fired up and (I am really sorry to say this) but he lost it and continued to lose it (and JB enjoyed it and I really don't think JB cares if he has to pay $100 or $200 to enjoy that at this point). I hope JA can pull it together for the afternoon session. HHJBP really is givng JA a break by calling lunch early....

On the WESH site the headline for 'attorney losing it' today is for the prosecution...

(I don't follow local news so I don't know if WESH is pro-defense or not normally)

The attorney should be allowed to pick the charity....

I disagree. All the talk about shouting....directed solely to JA. That seemed to be his biggest gripe. The shouting. JB and his snarky comments were not even mentioned. Maybe the judge is trying to get on the good side of CM and prove he's not biased. He's doing a bang up job of that, IMO.

Here is my understanding of what I just witnessed.

Dr. Voss is going to testify there were "crazy high" levels of chloroform in the trunk of the Pontiac. Jose has this witness to say that his "group" does not agree with Dr. Voss's findings of what chemical compounds make up human decomposition. This witness says that what Dr. Voss says is due to human decom(certain chemicals identified as coming from the process of a human being decomposing)can be found in ordinary household products. Such as:

Velveeta cheese(packets).
Coconut shampoo was brought up by Jose but the witness did not agree to that one and said he does not know anything about coconut shampoo.

The witness is saying that what Dr. Voss will say are the chemical elements that make up human decomp is not a "standard" and not accepted by everyone.

IMHO: the woman from the FBI who testified helped me to understand that these things are very accepted by the scientific community. I also read The Hinky Meter's post regarding the scientific method and I agree. There are already standards set for all of the science the defense is trying to get tossed out. Even a lay person, such as myself, high school diploma only-understands and knows what accepted science is based on:

the scientific method. And, imo a jury will understand. They also, imho will not appreciate Jose trying to (as JA said and I agree) "rewrite history". I will add it will not be appreciated the defense is trying to rewrite reality.

Because that is what it is going to take to find ICA, innocent.

ITA! CA is the total enabler in the family. I think that when GA left for those years she thought she and KC had this great relationship. I am not a parent, but for the posters who are, don't you know when you are being lied to? Taken advantage of? Stolen from? Played? Don't you know the difference between sincerity and fakeness, from your child? Apparently, CA knows the difference now, but refuses to accept it.

I do not like CA. At all, but as a poster without children, I do have empathy for her. Not sympathy, because her inaction and refusal to deal with KC created some of this tragedy. KC is responsible for KC. But my empathy is because, how sad would it be for me personally, if I had a child and they were this far gone? Incapable of true love. Because that is what I see in KC. Just a void. A grifter. Someone with a lot of acquaintences...not true relationships. Someone who as long as you give her what she wants and then some...is nice to you...but as soon as you don't, look out, here comes Miss Spiteful. That scares me. I hope to have kids some day, so I totally empathize with anyone who does, and has a KC in their family.

LittleBitty :tyou:

Why would Cindy be conflicted at all? Yes, good question.

I disagree. The attorney should stfu with the sniping and pay the price if he can't, which means donating to the charity of the judge's choice. Don't wanna donate to charity -whatever- then don't act the fool.

My opinions only.
