Is this morning's portion of the hearing worth watching?

ICA appeared to be wearing a black wristband on her left wrist today, but not shown in WFTV's slideshow. Anyone know what that was and if she had to take it off at some point or only wore it in the afternoon?

Bill Sheaffer states Dr.Vass' findings dovetails with all the other evidence and may very well come in as an appeal court wouldn't be able to sort out what the jury relied on, but the totality of the evidence would show the same conclusion. (I think that's what he said!)

Thanks Amil - I "heard" something close to that - I heard Bill S. imply that if the Dr. Vass evidence comes in and goes to the appeal court - HHJP would not be concerned about that because all of the other evidence dovetails in with the Dr. Vass evidence.

And the appeal court would say because of that dovetail they are unable to sort out how much influence the Vass findings had and so would not grant the appeal. Bill S. says that makes HHJP's decision about Dr. Vass much easier.

I saw that too. I was wondering if it might be hair bands. I don't believe she is allowed jewelry (unless Cindy snuck it in again ;) kidding.)

is Velveeta really even food? I would never let my kid eat it either. My thing is if it doesn't rot, it's not really food and we don't eat it;)

Yes, I am really fussy about that. I like my food to have been a living thing at some part of the process before it hits my shelves or table.

It's like perfume that is made of synthetic chemicals - peeuueww!

LOL Prime news talking about how sullen ICA looked till JB came in. Of course Jean Cesarez says they are "professionally bonded". Well she got half of that right.

Squirrels won't even touch Velveeta, that's how I know the dead squirrel theory is bogus..LOL

I'm still lost on that one. What I got out of it, was the DT would object if he was used. The state said he was hired by the DT, so why would they object to their own witness? :waitasec::waitasec:

Ok, jumped into the net to dig around and this was what I gathered.

Several years ago there was a trial in New York that involved issues about PM hair banding. The prosecutor's 2 witness's stated that PM banding is so similiar to environmental influences that it would be careless to assume there's a difference. BUT, the DT put their expert on the stand and this expert is the very one Baez retained and is refusing to consent to this expert in testifying.

So, the DT(New York case) puts their expert on the stand and he says that it isn't true that PM and environmental banding are similiar. He goes into detail of what the difference is AND....GET THIS....this expert informs the court that he has done enough research on PM banding that he can give a general timeline of when death occured. According to him PM banding starts around day 3 post death. So now would that mean that Caylee was left in the trunk for at least 3 days?

Is this morning's portion of the hearing worth watching?

I think reading this book, The Anatomy of Melancholy by Robert Burton, translated into Sanskrit while stabbing ones eye with a fork might be more edifying than listening to the morning portion of the hearing...but then, what do I know :innocent:

HLN back on w/talking heads . . . . JA saying your only involvement in this area (decompositional signature analysis) is reading one paper by Dr. Vass

Joey Jackson on HLN says the hypo question DOES in fact give a clue as to strategy.

Kind of makes you wonder if DCS only threw that comment out there as a Red Herring.

Mike Brooks thinks Judge already has his mind made up on how he wil rule.

I got that impression also. Especially about a motion where JP commented on wanting to check just one more thing which he repeated at Baez refused to consent to providing the New York expert.

In the event it is not admitted at trial - would be great for the defense - if not, they will argue chloroform can be anywhere.

Discussing the budget for Florida - is this trial funded through June for 2 months? The paperwork hasn't even been signed yet.

Either they will start the trial on time or delay due to lack of funds but won't stop it mid-trial.

Tomorrow depositions on psyciatrists on KC's state of mind.
