i love that ng is letting bethenny marshall speak truthfully on the family dynamic and what is really going on with the poor ole gp's

  • #62
Talking about the death band.

Oh I'm bad I heard this guy and thought it was Dr. Lee. Send me back to sensitivity class!

An oil of sorts, I think.

I am wondering if something in a cleaner that was used may have had some sort of terpene (oil) as in citrus oil? Pine oil?

Although the way LP put it made it sound as if LP understands it to be a plant product...

It's beyond me why she even has LP on the show. He talks like he knows what he's attesting to yet, all he does is confuse the issues. He needs to just go home and watch the trial like the rest of us.

Not-Dr-Lee says the death band has gone back to the mid 1980s

I thought the same. Not a sensitivity problem, it's a fact that they are both really difficult to understand- I wish she would have someone who speaks better English...

LOL - Just pick the one that makes sense and go from there. For me, Dr. Lee isn't it.

LOL talking about HHJP walking around Palm Beach courthouse. HHJP said just visiting a friend.

Wait for it...she has We Remember Caylee at the end and a pic. Make that 4 pics.

  • #70
NG has a common sense approach maybe not always right but I would take her anyday before JVM . At least she can see the whole picture, not to continuously say "Well that's doesn't mean she killed Caylee." That's getting old.

There are a couple of posts re: turpenes in the botany thread.

OT: G'night all.

Two bags of garbage. Whew! Thank you, Dr. Lee. I thought I was losing my mind. This second bag must be the wet, soggy one JB keeps referring to. The one with the ham sandwich and fingernail clipping...oops.

Makes you wonder doesn't it when the only sign of two bags was from the dumpster. GA stating he saw one bag in the trunk, SB saying he threw one bag from the trunk into the dumpster, LE only collecting one bag. I would imagine the other bag may have been from Amscot with papers so LE knew right away it did not come from KC's car.

So how did Dr. Lee think there were two bags?

I dunno. Maybe he found a bag that LE missed in the trunk as Bloise turned his back for two seconds to jot his notes down. I'm just glad NG didn't bite. I was expecting, "Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Two bags? Put Dr. Lee back up."

I know CA said she gave them a garbage bag filled with selected items pulled from the trunk and the car.

Okay. Now it makes sense. He was probably referring to the bag CA provided.

"NANCY GRACE, HOST: Breaking news tonight in the search for 2-year-old Florida girl, Caylee. Six months of searching culminate when skeletal remains found in a heavily wooded area just 15 houses from the Anthony home confirmed to be Caylee. A utility meter reader stumbles on a tiny human skeleton, including a skull covered in light-colored hair, the killer duct taping and placing a heart-shaped sticker directly over the mouth, then triple bagging little Caylee like she`s trash.

Bombshell tonight. In the last hours, the trial judge rules chloroform found in tot mom`s car trunk will come into evidence, along with home computer searches for homemade chloroform, fatal accidents in the home, how to make weapons from household items, and even a computer search on how to give the knockout drug chloroform a sweet taste and smell to its victim -- i.e., 2-year-old Caylee. The jury will hear it all."

http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/1104/28/ng.01.html

Did we know this ~ about the sweet taste and smell? I thought the computer search was only on how to make chloroform. If it is true, it seems pretty important because it would have been done specifically to make it easier to administer to Caylee, imo. Does anyone have any more details on this?

Wow, I had never heard that, and I thought I'd read pretty much everything. Anyone?

There are a couple of posts re: turpenes in the botany thread.

OT: G'night all.

I thought there was. I remember turpenes coming up a while ago, a quite intensive discussion. I think it was pretty much dismissed back them too as not a big deal or not being able to produce chloroform or something. I think it was back when the chloroform first came up in discussion. Actually, I think it went away because back then, we dismissed the chloroform as having anything to do with Caylee's death. And now I want to read that botany thread again...

Also, I'm glad that other people, people on television, are not buying the grieving grandparent card anymore. Thank goodness. At least some are seeing through the A's like we do now.

Well now I know where LP got is "bombshell". :/

Found it! And forget what I said, there's no connection to chloroform, and it's not mentioned in connection with turpenes. The discussion started at post #64 on the botany thread. Here's a link to Bond's post about it: [ame="http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3151484&postcount=65"]Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community - View Single Post - Forensic Botany[/ame]

Basically, this is an old argument that LP made that Casey's car could be determined to be literally at the dump site if turpenes were found in her trunk. Apparently he still believes in that argument today, and he's added that it might be connected to chloroform now, is that right? Lord.

Here's another post where a mom who asked her biologist/scientist son about it, and he said turpenes could only match to a specific region, not a state, and not site down the street: [ame="http://www.websleuths.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3164968&postcount=131"]Websleuths Crime Sleuthing Community - View Single Post - Forensic Botany[/ame] I don't know why LP keeps harping on this!
