He's "important" enough to be represented in the play "tot mom", and to sit in his big hat on TV......but NOt make an appearance on the witness list???

Does anyone know from discovery documents/evidence if Casey was planning to go back to Amscot for the car before it was towed? I think if she is really guilty as I believe she is, why didn't she try to rid of the car in a better fashion. By leaving it at Amscot was she hoping it would be stolen or what? I just don't get her thinking. If she is the killer which I realize most evidence points to her, she has to be one of the most stupid criminals.

((eta: she is one of the most seriously pathological liars I have ever read about... over and over her level and depth of lying is so utterly easy to spot and so shallow in nature... where she dumped the car and her excuses why it smelled match up MOO my pressing concern is if the jury will be able to fathom this.. it is hard to understand and swallow.. but WHO ELSE could have harmed little Caylee like this?))

I know, but her lies were just so stupid. I mean how can a person make up lies that are so easily disprovable and than continue to tell the same lie to whoever proved she lied. I guess I cannot possibly understand her mind. She told the police she took Caylee to Sawgrass even after the officers proved the apt was vacant. She told her dad and another babysitter she worked at Sports Authority after they both confirmed she did not in fact work there. How did she look at anyone in the eyes and continue with lies like that?

To me you have to be an idiot/borderline mentally retarded to lie like that and continue to live in some kind of fairyland. What did she think???....she would continue to live with Tony and steal from her mom's accounts and everyone would forget about her and Caylee. She had to have a grander scheme in her head. It was just sooooo stupid!

I know exactly what you mean. She stole checks from Amy and signed her name, big and bold, right on the back when she cashed them, in full view of the many surveillance cameras. How long did she think it was going to take for Amy to realize her bank account was empty? Then what? Did she have a story ready for WHY she cleaned out her 'best friends' checking account?

She had built a house of cards--no real job, abandoned her stinky car, dumped her dead child , stole from friends and family, ---what was her plan when it all began to implode?

A lot of parents - a LOT of parents - will suffer the lies as long as the status quo is maintained. None of her lies are particularly believable. But, the Anthonys had become inured to her particular personality and thought "eh, well, she's home, the kid is safe..." IMHO the never " believed" her. They hoped, she was telling the truth, or not too much of a lie. But, they knew, didn't call her on it because they didn't want to upset the boat - she was at least...(sigh) home and under their purveiw. But it just didn't work out that way. They probably gained some ground - lost some. They didn't want to think about how much they had actually lost, and never contemplated that she could actually hurt someone. They gambled on the baby forcing her into responsibility. Baby lost.

So if Gabriel did not 'quit' then maybe he was fired?

In any case the DT is scrambling around looking for another jury consultant.
So, imo, Gabriel either quit or was let go.

I guess we'll find out soon enough; I assume the Jury Consultant attends jury selection?

Talk about stupid criminals... and the family seems like they are of average intelligence/borderline dysfunctional....but big deal...many families are! and her mother supposedly didn't think she was pregnant until her uncle and some other people pointed it out .....at 7 months!!!

I know I'm no genius, most of us are not, but most of us could easily be a better thief if we wanted to head down the path of of a criminal.

I think you are right about Amy. I think now she told Amy she was going back to get the car, but you can't believe anything she said....I wonder if they were able to see by her pings if she was right near Amscot again.
