Wonder who that lady is talking to ICA? She got the memo on wearing seafoam! Anyone have an idea?

Someone just said that KC rolled her eyes when the young mother was explaining about her five year old and how she would have to leave her with her husband and basically she does it better.

Does anyone know about that. I find it hard to be lieve that she would roll her eyes. Anyone?

I can't believe she was excused, seems she would have been good for the State..

I'm flabbergasted and confused.

Wow - the mother of a two year old - single working - no way the defense would let her in.
Ten minute break - who sat down? Is that Jeanette Barrett

no... but maybe its her wardrobe consultant

I think I like this lady. She lives at home, and PAYS RENT!

Bless her - so did I!

I totally get the people that have small children and even up to high school age that don't want to be away from them and get excused. They are only that age once, they need their mommies and daddies even if it's just the daily 'did you do your homework' or 'show me what you drew in school' kinda thing. Routine is good for kids.

I think we have to remember that they will poll jurors until they get what they need. When I served jury duty recently we were told they would keep at it, and we had several trials both criminal and civil that we could serve on. The judges at our courthouse kept on it until they could get what they needed.

By the way, saw a patting down of KC before she went to Court today and it was downright humiliating.

I don't own anything in that lovely color of sea foam green. Thank goodness

Not unless she gained a lot of weight. Jeanette is a very slim woman who had long hair.

Must be one of the other people ICA has met with in the last few months.

I think the older women, (when I say older, I mean 10+ years on Casey) would be just as damaging to Casey as the young single women.

There's a pretty good chance that half of the women who are older were single mothers, whose own mother's did not rescue them when they wanted to go out at night, or when they refused to get out an work for their money.

I figure that the older they are, the better for the guilty verdict. Most of the older ones have raised children and had rules their children were required to abide by.

This is going to be one heck of a trial.

I've been on a few juries and I can honestly say I've never seen this many jurors be excused, ever. This is surprising to me, to say the least.

It does not surprise me in the least that KC would roll her eyes; In her mind, she probably thinks she is the greatest mother that ever lived. :floorlaugh:

They need young parents on this jury and they are the ones that are going to be the hardest to get, hardship and not wanting to leave their child for such a long time.........and the woman who said it was against her religious beliefs scares me...not a good juror for the State...

I thought it was a male patting her down at first too.

The Okefenokee wildfire is now more than 71,000 acres. Smoke and ash are both reaching northeast Florida. How is it affecting you?

These fires are choking me.
