I sure like JP. He is trying very hard to make sure ICA gets a fair trial and if she is convicted that there are no loopholes to get her a retrial or off the hook.

What her cry now and watch the photos coming in that shows 31 days of bliss after Caylee went missing. Jury will figure out real quick who the tears are for. Reality is sitting in on ICA and she is scared.

I can't get over how much she tries to wipe off what she did from her hands. I wonder if her wrists hurt as she lived her laundry bag and took it to the woods. Tears when jury there. Her demeanor changes dramatically when they are there (candidates) and when they are not.

Anyone know what time the male juror appeared who said he thought Casey was guilty? If, and when, videos of today's jury selection come up, I would like to hear it. I think he was first mentioned around 2:30 p.m. in this thread.

Just getting back....what transpired in court about this???

The judge pretty much said for the air sample evidence to come in they need the rest of the evidence the FBI said it would not release naming the 400 and some chemicals given off by decomp.

The States Attorney said he would call the FBI and the Judge said that was a good idea.

WOW! I just tuned back in, after chores and grocery shopping, to hear HHJP say he told the FBI to cut the carp out!!! I cannot believe that for almost 3 freakin' years, JB hasn't figured out to ask the FBI for info that is exclusive to the FBI! And what the heck is wrong with Mason and his 40+ years, that he hadn't figured that out. Shame on the defense...They are <unusual people!>!!! That smell of decomp. better be coming in after HHJP already said is was.

Why does HHJP always give the defense so many chances? I'm just sick! :sick:

Wasn't this addressed in one of the first hearings in front of Strickland when Baez complained to him that SA was not turning over reports or something...and Strickland replied that he could NOT order the FBI to turn over reports but that Baez should simply ASK FOR THEM???

Am I recalling this correctly????

Short version.

FBI has documents concerning Vass and the air stuff.

JB filed many motions indicating the court or the state should make the FBI give them the documents. All without actually making any attempt to request them himself. Saying the Court could make them hand them over. The state said the Court had no jurisdiction and that JB just needed to ask for them.

Now just a week away from opening statements JB is complaining he never got those documents. And is NOW saying the state is right the court has no jurisdiction.

The judge agrees he needs the documents, even though JB was late and never did anything to get the documents just whine about not having them.

So now if the DT doesn't get those documents HHJP will not allow Vass to testify.

So here's hoping the State can get the FBI to give them the documents. But I will bet that if they get the documents the DT will request a delay to review the documents to prepare for Vass.

Basically the State is going to have to do the DT's job.

So does anyone else find these prospective jurors to be, for the most part, utterly bizarre? How much of the economy there depends on dog walking/grooming/pet sitting? How many of them were unemployed or on some mysterious disability? The two best people couldn't be taken from their lives of responsibility. Seems like we're only going to get unemployable eccentric people. Doesn't bode well imo.

Excellent job on the photo's. Like the one where Casey is crying/blowing her nose. You should caption that with "Guess who the little snothead is now?"

I don't who that lady in the green jacket was, but she left out of the same door of the courtroom as Casey did, just right behind her.
