We are doing good this morning - two and two - two for recall and two excused. Woot!

Yep, I think we will have a jury seated just like the Judge said.:woohoo:

Oh PLEAZEEEEEEEEE CM STOPPPPP !!!!!

  • #183
Does CM honestly NOT hear what these people say, or is he just talking so he can justify sitting there for several hours? I'd have expected he be talked to prior to trial about rectifying the situation, honestly, if his hearing is an issue. I truly don't understand some of his questions, or perhaps the reason behind some of them.

Why do I get the impression that Mason is badgering these potential jurors after they are claiming hardship?

IF they were to remain on the jury, I would think this behavior by Mason would automatically create an ill feeling towards the defense.....

  • #188
#1311-Mason says inconvenient, not hardship-
JP: ok, he'll report back tomorrow

  • #189
What the defense isnt even gonna let this guy go on his trip to Panama?

If I tried to do this, when I went back to retrieve them,my two Shih Tzu's would bite my ankles,to let me know who was the boss LOL:crazy:

I have 3 cats. Petsitter comes to them. I boarded them once 1 day - the three were in separate little cages - they were horrified - so was I. I would have my petsitter come but it's $20.00/day. That's $1000.00 + for 8 weeks or over $500.00 if every other day. Ouch! Guess I'd have to use my $30.00/per diem for that and just ignore all my bills.

I seriously, seriously don't understand CM's strategy. If that juror obviously did not want to be on the jury for hardship reasons (owned and runs Ace Hardware Store)...why oh why would CM "insist" that he be on the jury? Talk about going into it with a preconceived "hatred" for the Defendant.............That juror would be resentful of the defense from the get go.

  • #194
This guy will be excused. He runs homes for abused children.

  • #195
1440 - male, runs group homes for deliquent children and 24 foster homes on call 24-7 for emergency placement. He has to be in Daytona for a foster care conference to recruit foster parents. Has to cover a group home for someone going on maternity leave. This potential juror is getting married.

#1440- male
hardship-runs group homes & foster homes, for abused children, on call 24/7

I thought that too. But I think the defense want to balance that with the fact that he is otherwise a "desirable" juror.

  • #198
This man would be good. Runs homes for foster kids, and abused kids.

Caylee would be alive with a foster family! IMO

  • #199
Hmmm, sounds like all the remaining potential jurors went home and got their hardship "alibi's" straight last night, lol.

1440 - M - Foster Care Crisis mgt in pinellas. He'll be excused, but I wonder what kind of juror he would have made. Mason DOES NOT WANT
