jb and mason laughed...more at the nerve comment....BUT still I think the man was stil there

I thought Baez look mortified because he claimed there wasn't a mixture of races with jurors yesterday. He looked uncomfortable.

oh my these jurors are just not swift - is that bad to say?

What's the story with why JB and ICA have fallen out?

Even after he stopped visiting her in jail they seemed ok.

He seems so P**sed off.

there has diffentley been a disconnect between the two as of late....she is more inclined to lean on cm for comfort and chitchat....jb blows her off---yesterday when the tears came cm was paying her attention--jb no---

This poor guy he's got a daughter with RA, new job with less pay to stay home and help with her. I can't imagine he'll be chosen

Does anyone know for sure if the defense has lost their jury expert? Is that why CM is asking the questions? Thank you in advance. Sorry if this question does not belong here.

Jim L. wrote something on his notepad and showed Holly Bristow.....the look on her face was priceless. What was so interesting?

I like how he says "It would be an inconvience for ANYONE to be away from their loved ones for 6-8 weeks"
....
yeah not ICA.

Juror 1050- Bill, Kathi, Tony in the gallery - very empty looking courtroom. Baez not looking smug yet, ICA still restless.
just started a new position - took a pay cut to be home with daughter who has juvenile rhuematoid arthritis. Can you have your family travel to visit you once a week? No financial hardship. Is this an great inconvenience or a semi-disaster hardship? I am hearing you saying it would be an inconvenience?

I'm not getting this guy, I don't think he understands what JP is asking, is it hardship or not? JP is being very kind and patient explaining what he is wanting to know

This process offers an amazing window into the day-to-day life of the average responsible citizen, how much genuine burden we carry, and how tenuous our hold on our ongoing life can be in our paycheck-to-paycheck existence. Eight weeks off no pay and zero input into our day-to-day is a potentially devastating prospect for so many.

I think its great they have quite a few that they havent excused.

Good morning everyone. I'm just tuning in, since it's been a crazy morning in my neck of the woods. Amber Alert for a 9-year old girl, ended up with her being found dead near her apartment complex, one block from my house last night, so things are a bit busy here for a town of only 7000 people.

Anyway, I see we're moving right along. Are they keeping more jurors today, or are they sending them home in abundance, like yesterday?

The DT will not want this guy. He obviously cares about his child since he took a hefty pay cut from a job he did prior due to the traveling because of his daughters health. What a loving, caring and unselfish father. Nope the DT will not want him.

WAIT!! Why isn't the judge telling these people they are NOT on camera. JB had that settled I believe.

Most likely the jurors were told when they were in a big waiting room, maybe even handed something typed up.

I am not happy with this man ....

1050: Heed? yes. Hardship? Yes. Uhm, just started a job two weeks ago. My wife does not work. Had a job traveling around but daughter is ill.

HHJP: if you took a pay cut would you suffer financially? Your wife is a stay at home mom.

Financially no. Family, yeah.

HHJP: if you were away from your family for six to eight weeks, understanding that your family could visit...we know it will be an inconvenience...only you can provide the information. it sounds like it would be an inconvenience, while you would miss your family, this is not financial-if I hear you correctly. other than a minor inconvenience is there any thing else you would like to share with us.

HHJP: contact him later, to give a report in time for round two.
