I have to say it really pizzes me off that this person chose to give an interview after being told yesterday...DO NOT SPEAK to anyone.

Yes they were dismissed but the fact that they gave an interview and seemed willing to speak for the room at large makes you wonder......WTH is wrong with people these days.

Of course....just watching her....she's shall I say.....not media shy??

We'll see her end up on Nancy Grace as a talking head B4 you know it.

The media always picks the ummmmmmmmm unusual people to interview don't they??

I won't post her pic. Won't give her more publicity.

Well she was nothing if not frank about her reasons.
This is going to be a big problem for the DT- it's not media fault if they have read about her case and decided, as a lot of us have, that she killed Caylee.
Seems their media blitz last week did nothing for them.
The words Lipstick and pig come to mind..

I listened to a bit of the jury selection yesterday. They just seem to be weeding people out for financial or other hardships first. What do they bring them back to ask them their personal opinions later?

Sorry but they are not there to punish her. She has not been convicted. As hard as it may be in a case like this she is entitled to a presumption of innocence. She has lost her liberty merely because of the Charge she is facing and not because she is guilty.

There seems to be little reason why she cannot speak to her Attorneys after Court.

She does not need to be dragged out of court at the first opportunity and treated in a demeaning manner, especially prior to conviction.

Actually isn't she a convicted felon currently serving time for check fraud and theft?

Well, I finally figured out a solution. Tomorrow when I feel the need to name call, which has been quite often lately, I will unplug my keyboard and just start typing away, I mean really let go. Then once it's out of my system, I will plug back in and post responsibly. BTH, this behavior is so unlike me.

What is Cheney Mason deaf? One woman was questioned and explained she could not financially meet her obligations if she served on the jury. Cheney Mason requested that she is questioned more twice although it was hard for me to hear what he said exactly. Either I'm deaf or he is.

I disagree. The presumption of innocence does not mean that the rules and order with which an inmate is treated should not be implemented. Yes in the eyes of the law in this country a defendant/inmate is innocent until proven guilty but within the courts and the jail systems, steps and order has to be taken to protect the court as well as the officers and corrections personnel that interact with them. People are presumed innocent, but they are not always innocent. Many a defendant/inmate have grabbed for a deputies gun or made some other stupid attempt that could get someone hurt or worse, killed. They may see the freedom of the court (i.e. no shackles and bars) as a last ditch attempt to do something desperate. That is why the prisoners have to be treated in that manner. For the protection of corrections personnel. Casey doesn't get a free pass because she's a "sweet little innocent thing" she should have to follow the SAME rules that any other inmate would have to follow. IMO.

I don't know if your being sarcastic there.

But regardless of what she did, it does society no good to drop our moral standards to those which we perceive to be the Defendant's. Especially prior to conviction.

Wow, WFTV has an interview with one of the Jurors who was kicked off today.
She says the great majority there do not want to be associated with this case because they know she is guilty of killing her kid and she couldn't get a fair shot from them...

I am not suggesting she be 'dragged out of court' I am suggesting that she be removed immediately. She is not a 'free person'. If her attorney wants to speak with her or she with them - then do it in the correct setting. Remember it was her attorney's asking for the mic's to be turned off today. I am sure they want privacy with conferring with their client INMATE Casey Anthony.

But, the interview lady said one or two people knew nothing of the case! That was good to hear. Not everyone has absorbed all of this, nor has had the time to watch the news, read papers, internet. Good to hear.
