Anyone have the count on how many made it through from this panel. I think I've only heard maybe one or two people get the "we'll call you".

61 so far...

She isn't crying now. She just seems like I would say a bit odd.

Juror #3061: Woman. Hardship- Employer (ice cream shop) will not pay and is not salaried. Lives alone..pays all bills herself.

Excused for cause: financial hardship. No objections.

3061: Hardship? That it would.

HHJP: Why?

Employer will not pay. Was notified of that last night. I live alone. No salary. I have bills to pay. Small business. It would impact their business if I had to take time out. I would have to hit my family up for money.

HHJP: What if they would not give you a penny? The bottom line?

I would not lose my home. They will give you till three months. It would be tough.

HHJP: What about the rest of your bills?

They would be on hold for the duration of the trial.

HHJP: You would suffer financial hardship if you were to serve, correct ma'am?

Yes I would.

HHJP: Excused.

Oh for God's sake! I hope it is nothing serious....like maybe another fake suicide attempt.

No wonder the A's aren't there. They had to stay home to stage an emergency to postpone the proceedings since JB has not been able to do that so far, don't ya know!

More Anthony spin until I see his hospital picture and the report from a doctor stating that their is something seriously wrong with him....well more serious than being an [unusual person].
I don't consider these problems as fake. These are high strung people with many issues. The stress of a DP murder case is causing sever stress on all in that family, and I think we are seeing the result.

Have you been called for aj ury that involves being sequestered in a hotel for 4-8 weeks.

many cases don't sequester people for 2 months... I guess that's the difference

I remember a judge in our central court here who said that once actually went across the street to a bar in the middle of the day and grabbed some drunks out of the bar to serve jury duty that day! Apparently, they can do that. I was surprised! They needed jurors in a pinch and that's how he got them. Imagine them serving on a jury!

In any event, I guess HHJP could actually got to a homeless shelter and find jurors, as he earlier joked.

I surely hope that this little insight and peek into the personal lives of local citizens..give ya all insight that MEN are no longer considered the "Bread Winners"..Most of these women are the sole bread winner, and would be on the streets IF had NO INCOME...Yikes...Society has certainly changed in the past generation, eh?

I do. She needs to keep her elbows off the table. The nerves for her hands go through there :great:

haven't felt my pinkie and half of my ring finger on my left hand since...acutally and truly - day 31

I think they probably gave her a shot of some kind of anxiety medicine that kicked in right away. That could probably explain the quick recovery. I think she truly did have a panic attack, and I have had one before, and those shots they give you work immediately!
