Casey appears real agitated today and her bangs wont stay out of her eyes, it has to be annoying for them to keep falling in her face. She keeps rubbing them down to the side. Baez looks nervous today also.

ICA is zoned out!! I think reality has struck-she has realized that she is not a paralegal-she is the accused murderer AND THE PEOPLE FACING HER MIGHT DECIDE WHETHER SHE LIVES OR DIES!!:noooo:
By the way-I loved how many times JBP said CAYLEE MARIE ANTHONY this morning!! Thank you-your Honor!!:blowkiss:

I haven't heard HHJP tell the jurors to NOT talk about the case to each other. Did I miss that?

Someone had better get that established before we have a repeat of yesterday's fun.

The jury pool that was dismissed yesterday were not yet instructed by the judge.
They did nothing wrong, imo. JP did the right thing by dismissing them. He is doing all the right things to prevent a mis-trial.

JP telling about the "perks" of sequestration. Sounds like he's trying to sell a time share. He's so precious. I love him.

I certainly loved how he explained it today vs. Monday. Hey, I'm game. Sounds like a darn good vacation!

MOO

HHJP discussing the difference between hardship and inconvenience. Will understand hardship, inconvenience - not so much.
Do not talk among yourselves about the panel or the case - if someone approaches you tell a deputy and HHJP will deal with them harshly. All rise - calling back in one by one. ICA standing and taking a drink of water - head still hanging down, looking at table. Simms asking her a question, woman in black suits coming over to quickly speak to ICA - this is definitely a counsellor here for ICA.

Has anyone figured out who this other woman is standing next to ICA now. Previously she has been seated next to the attorney who spoke yesterday for the motion.

The Judge was very personable with the potential jurors. He made them feel and understand what it means to be an American. I think we will have a great outcome today!

I have never seen casey acting this way. Could this be her reaction to Baez verses what is going on in count. Her attempt at trying to control Baez until he apologizes for what she thinks happened? Baez is not giving in to her.

I know we're talking KC here, BUT, wouldn't ya think she'd know not to continue to look down? As if guilty?? That really bugs me. Look at the jurors, scan the people. The people who will decide your fate!?

got that off my chest!!

my son-that-turns-17-on-may-17th-and-gets-justice-for-caylee-on-his-bday were discussing this yesterday, as we both think crying is not always a sign of guilt, we think we'd cry even if we were innocent (well yall know I cry at everything anyways) but we think the BIG TELL is her inability to face the jurors or look at them, as a shy person I would have trouble with 100% eye contact but I would be absolutely compelled to keep looking at them, every one of them.

I also think her crying is kinda weird, I burst into tears myself as count one was read, just like I always do, but I cried before ICA and I was still trying to wipe up the last of it long after she was done. I dont know if this makes me a weenie or her a hardhearted such and such.

OMG! Private chat with JB and KC going behind the closed door! Did anyone see the exchange before with the chair being moved up, then the look of disgust?

  • #372
Hey, lets go talk about the plea -- oh nevermind - looks like ICA may just have to piddle.

  • #373
Casey crying and she left with JB.

  • #374
WOW JB and KC just went to the back.

  • #375
oh my freaking word.....ICA wanted a private moment with Baez, and she just got it. No other attorney's going just ICA and Baez!!!!

  • #376
Wow, she must be extremely upset as the DT surrounds her to pacify her emotions.
She just left the courtroom?

  • #377
Ewwww drama of some sort and ICA is escorted out.

  • #378
I just experienced a massive slowdown in the ability to post - hope this doesn't continue.

IMO, her new "handler".
