Not exactly true, I guess. Judge can ask the reason, which he did...and here we are, he disallowed it as racial.

If it is true that she is a pleaser, then maybe if the vote came down to 11-1 guilty, she would come around just to please the other jurors.

I've been on a jury and other jurors can put a lot of pressure on you to change your vote if you are the hold out.

That would be one thing that would really bother me.

See...he just confirmed my suspicions.....he said he didn't reply to FB posts (since Monday)....and now confirmed it by saying he has seen headlines but passed on by.

That is exactly what he did. He was not open to being told anything negative about this lady. You could see he was angry as soon as JA objected to her!

This is BS imo. I think HHJP denied the strike because he is determined to get enough jurors in time to start the trial on time. Sunny Hoskins stated in IS she has never seen anything like it. Could end up being an appellate issue.

She doesn't have asperger. I was saying I was somewhat relating to her not being social and no friends because my suffering from the disorder which people lack social skills.

This thread is flying so not sure if this has been addressed here, but -

HLN is reporting that the SA did challenge citing a case (begins with "B") - based on a supreme court ruling? (Sorry I missed the case cited!) HHJP denied their rrequest.

HLN and insessions often mis quotes things --- I have had to yell at them several times while watching them....
