Did she also just say, "I've always had an interest in it." when referring to why she wants to be on this jury?

Another reaosn to say bye-bye.

OMG with the "who are you" question again.

  • #643
I hate that JB gives that smile and then makes that reptilian sound. Ugh.

  • #644
I was under the impression she had an interest in jury duty not necessarily a juror in this case. :waitasec:

ETA: Nevermind. JB had her clarify it. She does want THIS case.

  • #645
JB: "Exxxacatillly.... whooooo aaaaarrrre yooooouuuuu...."

  • #646
JB, Really? Rope it in ole boy, rope it in!

I think it was to not seek info about the case on Facebook

There's a difference between searching for the info and having people send you messages about it. She did the right thing and told people she did not want to discuss it.

I think she may have meant how a trial actually works:twocents:

Would you like to be on this jury. Yes, because it is interesting - it is a big case - I'm curious - I can follow instructions, I am a fair person - you need to be discreet - I can do that. Have you ever cared for a baby for an extended period of time. No. In any of your classes have you taken any law. No.
Baez wants to ask a few awkward questions. Not the old who are you? Ack. I am a student daughter, responsible and compassion person, intelligent and rational, Do you consider yourself to be an analytical or emotional person - how do you make decisions. Emotional intelligent is pretty high but I don't rely on that. I like to know all I can before I make a decision.

PJ: Dr G is "a little too creepy for me"

  • #653
Dr. G is is gonna look tame compared to what might be shown at trial.

  • #654
You'll get an email telling you you have a private message and you can actually read the message.

True but if it were me I wouldn't open a facebook email due to the judges orders not to be on facebook.

  • #655
Eye candy for the trial? :innocent:

Okay folks - lets move on - this one is a keeper. Time is marching on.

the problem with that sentiment is that the american judicial system has tilted far too dramatically in favor of the defendant.

and the dt has NO incentive to do anything but obstruct, delay and gum up the proceedings.

imo.

Juror qualified "interested in this case" - everyone seems to know so much about it, and she doesn't, so she wants to know what it's all about, what actually happened

  • #658
Oh no, JB going to ask her an awkward question....

I thought for sure he was gonna drop to one knee and propose.

I guess he thought his missus wouldnt understand.

  • #659
I don't really like the idea of a juror who wants to be on this jury in particular, as this young woman said.

Greetings everyone!
OK, I've been following this case off and on since way back. Had meant to stay silent but just overwhelmed with the urge to join in the discussion!
Can anyone tell me why ICA looks angry today?
I look forward to being part of this community.

welcome!! this is by far the BEST online "blogging" (so they like to call us hehe) community! Wish I could see her face to let ya know! I think she is just annoyed and jealous that these are the type of people she could have been.
