After they choose 20, aren't 8 of them drawn at random for alternates? Lawyer, anyone? That is what I believe to be true.

I was quite surprised at that. I consider her age and dismiss it immediately....but I do consider it!

She may not be a main juror. She may become an alternate. If an alternate, she may never have any say in the final judgment.

someone please, please correct me if I am wrong but I was under the impression that JA tried to do just that and HHJP said he may not, because JB claimed it was because of her race. which means she is DEFINITELY on the jury. yes or no? anyone?

Perhaps if they had a new and clear reason from another set of ? they could try again to dismiss her, but not as it stands. I think they still have some more questioning, but not sure.
