I hope the judge puts a stop to this. I really think the DT is in a sense wanting to try their case now to get a feel for things. :maddening:

She's out. She doesn't think PTSD is real.
She's out with me, too. Obviously not a nurse at the VA, and if she is...she needs to be "out" there as well!

I don't think they are going the route that George Killed Caylee

But I do believe they will say George abused Casey, that George abused her and that is one of the reasons Casey did whatever she did and acted the way she did during those 31 days.

I also believe when they throw Cindy under the bus...it will be over emotional abuse, verbal abuse...not protecting Casey from abuse....

After AF stating that GA/CA failed to protect her yesterday (during listing of mitigating circumstances), I totally believe the bus is headed in LA's direction. I think they're going to say HE abused her, she told her parents, and they did nothing but cover it up.

And we are back...

Great point! I'm still not so sure that Cindy will accept/believe that Casey's going to throw them under the bus - at least not until the front wheels are actually rolling over them...

I'm not so sure.
I believe Cindy will agree to whatever the DT plans on using IF it will save Casey....:twocents:

JA was really animated and pointing and aggressive during the sidebar.

All Ms Finnell is doing is eliciting a yes over and over and over. Sales tactic 101.

He feels strongly about the dp if it was a police officer, a random killing of an innocent person. He could keep an open mind though.

KC doesn't like him.

We have had three police officers murdered in St. Pete since January of this year. :(

What is wrong with Finnel? Is this the 1st time she has been part of a case like this? Or, is she just stubborn and chooses to ignore the judge?

Can any of my nursing colleagues explain to me what the DT is hoping to achieve by not challenging RN's? They've accepted 2 so far and both are grandparents. The one they just finished up with didn't believe PTSD was an actual diagnosis, just a label DR's give.
RN's expect reports. They expect children to be protected and report to authorities when they aren't. They are pretty good judges of when they're being lied to.
Seems to me the DT is trying to get their client convicted and given the DP.
As an RN, I was thinking the same things you were when they accepted them.

WOW an "over-ruled" Is that 199999-1? in favor of the prosecution

AF - IF it goes to the penaly phase. Is she trying to tell us something here??

  • #574
"she will be given a lethal injection". Cripes, it's not like the electric chair or a firing squad fgs. All it is, is she goes sleepy bye and never feels a thing but perhaps a slight buzz. And then yeah, she's dead. Maybe she shouldn't have, imo, killed a sweet little 2 yo that was her darling little daughter.:waitasec:

I still think they should change the law, and duct tape her. :twocents:

AF is confusing this guy

I've watched a plethora of trials - some short, some long - and HHJP is the best judge I have ever witnessed. Bar none. I'm so pleased he's on the bench for this trial.

I totally agrre. He is far different that Judge Lance Ito.

Not to worry. We've got a plan. All of these fantastic profiles are going to be saved and placed in a "Read Only" Jury Profile reference thread once the jurors are officially seated. :great:

Great Idea to put all in one place. Will you be doing the same for the Trial ?

TIA !
