AF needs to sit down already...

she really should stick to the case law ONLY
and stop trying to try her case right now.

:greetings: :wagon:

Stick around through trial. It will be verrrrryyy interesting.

Thanks to you all for the welcomes, they are much appreciated. :D

I very much hope to catch the trial, at the risk of sounding stupid, when is the trial expected to start?

Here we go with the abuse again. Family dysfunction, etc.

Evidently didn't know what mitigating factor meant when AF was asking him. Is age or maturity a mitigating factor? He kept saying no. Now he is being schooled by HHJP and responds yes.

Judge - we cannot ask you to prejudge this case. :woohoo:

Do they really think that 23 is considered too young to know right from wrong? What is up with the age question? KC is not a juvenile and this is not Juvy Court.

Exactly. 18 year olds had been convicted and given the DP loads of times.

Great Idea to put all in one place. Will you be doing the same for the Trial ?

TIA !

Yes, in fact that will be the main purpose of it. We will have all succinct 20 juror profiles posted in one thread so we can refer back to it during the course of the trial.

Welcome Tricksy! We're glad to have you. :)

It's supposed to start on Tuesday. But at the slow rate this jury selection is taking, it may not.

Supposed to be Tuesday, at this rate we don't know.

someone explain to him what mitigation is - I think he is confused.

Im getting the feeling this guy is "wrong is wrong" regardless of age, abuse etc... If she is found guilty, she is guilty and he dont care why....

Yeah, I think this guy wants to answer truthfully, but isn't understanding the whole concept.

If you cannot grasp mitigating & aggravating then, to me, you are not qualified to be a juror in a DP case. JMO.
