Well we did get through 11 today so if they can get through 12 tomorrow HHJP will have his 20 - we already have 8 (without any strikes)

Let's hope they can get it done!

ETA - only 10, I recounted and found I counted one twice.

So are these 8 already finished totally with their voir dire? Or do they still have to go through the personal questions part? If they are done, that is really awesome, considering how slow it started out!

Yum that dessert buffet looks fab! Pass me a coke.....

I have had a thought all week about Caylee, and I just have to put it out there because it is weighing on my heart......My baby girl Lacie is six months younger than Caylee, almost to the day. Lacie came to us through the blessing of adoption, after we had been praying for a baby for a long time. She is the light of our lives, the best thing that has ever happened to me. I would lie down in front of a train to keep her safe. Hearing that Casey considered placing Caylee for adoption.....well I cannot help but think she could be somewhere with a family who thinks of her like I do my angel. She could have been treasured and a family could have been blessed with the miracle of her. It is almost more than I can bear to think about. How I wish she had been placed for adoption.:tears:

Thank you for this heart felt expression - it is easy to feel how much you love your beautiful child. However, I do not believe ICA was actually intending to put her child up for adoption - she was being cruel to her friend Kiomarie who she knew could not have children and expressed a real desire to adopt ICA's child. She used the excuse that her mother wouldn't let her, however, since I knew ICA did what ever she wanted to and pretty much ignored her mother if it wasn't working for her, I at least have very strong doubts that whole scene actually happened - at least not on ICA's side. I think she was doing a ya ya on you I've go something you want and can't have game on her "friend". We've seen her pull that one a few times.

HE is beginning to remind me of a parent who says your grounded then he lets CM ,JB,and AF go out and play!:waitasec::twocents::banghead:

ITA, and that's exactly why they keep on misbehaving! They have gotten away with it so far, just like their client! :maddening:

Oh I must have missed that one. I know one man said he wanted to set up a site on ebay to sell some of his memorabilia but that was for music.

This same 🤬🤬🤬 juror did say he'd bought some memorabilia on e-bay and one poster said it is pretty easy to see who bought what and when on that site.

I am starting to believe Justice for Caylee is never gonna happen.

Yes there are 8 that have been "put through". I thought there was a 3rd round but now I'm just confused because HHJP said once he gets 12 - he's gonna swear them in. So, now I don't know either. All I know is there are 8 that have made it through 2 rounds.

FYI, it took 9 weeks to seat the S Peterson jury. This case is just as notorious as that one, imo.

No those eight have one more round to go. HHJP was warning the lawyers they have one more shot to do the "haulback" or whatever it was called and once this last time is done he is immediately swearing them in as a jury.

Hi logicalgirl. I never knew that. And I would agree with your view since we all know Casey only thinks of #1 and never cares what CA thinks.....I still wish she had placed Caylee for adoption.

I did not hear him say crime memorabilia, only rock and roll, Beatle signatures, etc. and has been collecting since 1970's but I did not hear the crime part.

I think HHJP is doing an exceptional job reining in these proceedings-- after the first day, I really thought we'd be at this well into June. :)

I think it's all coming along very well. It looks like the trial won't happen on Tuesday - but I do believe we will see the official start day next week. HHJP gave them a lot of rope this week, but he has steadily and strongly reeled it back it. He knows the Defense is playing silly whathaveyou's and trying to delay the trial, but he's been pretty clear he's not having it.

He pretty much said late today, okay you lot made a commitment you couldn't wouldn't keep - now we are doing it my way.

I'm pretty sure we all do! ICA was of legal age and could have done what she wanted despite what CA may or may not have wanted. So I have never understood why some folks have laid all this at CA's feet. We've seen on the jail house tapes how much respect she has for CA or GA for that matter.

There was that serial killer The Toy thingy he gave to his son - it was some kind of comic book thing, and some skulls he uses for bookends, and I can't remember - oh yes, a specific book on a crime committed in an area the juror used to live in. And like you said - he also wanted to set up a website to sell some of his larger "pieces" but I can't remember if he ever said what they are. But there was no mention these last things were crime stuff and I didn't assume they were.

Whoa - Yakety Yak!!! Just noticed I hit the 6000 mark! Geez, talk much?? LOL!
I'm probably going to hit over 10K by the time this trial is over. Then when anyone asks me if I've ever done a 10K, I can say "sure I have"
(People up here are real marathon runners - yawn)

It's crazy- he is so inconsistent. Gets rude with the state and let's JoseB and co. slide again and again.

I have had to miss most of the last two days due to RL (which is much less interesting in many ways than my time here at WS but whaddaya gonna do?). I'm tempted to say "OK, so fill me in!" but I suspect there would be much rotten fruit flung in my direction if I did. :innocent:

I will say that I'm not worried about the juror who "can't judge" because IMO she will look to other jurors for input etc. I don't think she would be unable to vote ICA guilty. Do have concerns that she would just never open her mind to considering the DP however.

(And wow I've missed you guys SO MUCH! Thanks to everyone who posted so helpfully--it makes it so much easier to catch up. :blowkiss:)

I just keep thinking there is a method to the madness. ICA will get her due. I don't doubt that for an instant.

May Caylee rest in peace knowing that there are many folks throughout the world that want to see justice done.

You are forever in my heart, Caylee. Such a beautiful child.
