I think it's so hard to say even if someone is conservative or not...I consider myself conservative and lean more towards anti-death penalty...or at least it takes A LOT for me to believe it's the right choice. Not trying to argue, just pointing out how it can vary vastly.

My husband is extremely conservative, but hates the idea of having to give someone the death penalty. I am conservative also (was liberal in my yout'), and have a hard time with it.

I seem to remember a lot of liberals calling for the death penalty without the benefit of a trial for certain political (conservatives) they do not like.

Isn't safe to generalize, I guess.

wonder what is up their sleeve about the victim impact statement?? Why is this so important to the DT??

Me thinks, that the DT pretty much know they have nothing really for her defense and the best part to save ICA azz will be LWOP.

He sounds so young though!

Yeah but she hides them, and does the manic hand wringing and grooming of the cuticles, fingertips, etc. It really seems like a Macbeth-like "out damn spot" type of thing.

I don't think two panic attacks would justify an on-going prescription for a tranquilizer. Maybe an anti-depressant type serotonin re-uptake inhibitor but not sedatives. Doctors are VERY careful with prescribing those as they are considered controlled substances. She would have had to meet with a jail psychiatrist and be given a prescription based on generalized anxiety disorder, or something like that, with intense panic attacks that have occurred more than a couple of times, IMO.

In an extreme situation, like when her daughter's body was found, then the medical team could assess her in the medical unit and give her a one time pill.

IMO, she is bored and tired. Probably not sleeping much.
ITA agree with you about the meds...

also several reporters tweet that she is fidgety.. the camera is not on her all the time so we don't know what she is doing all the time...

I can see why you want to ask a potential juror about "mercy" when just about everyone who has been following the case wants to make a christmas tree out of Casey. Anyone serving on the jury isn't going to show any type of mercy with Casey even those who might be somewhat against the DP.
My prediction though.

He is a disability (adjudicator) for the VA . . determines whether or not the Vet applying for benefits will receive them. He sometimes makes determination on whether a Vet will receive medical care ie: hearing aides (CM's question).

He sounds much younger...I think the DT is going to strike him, military background and he seems like a logical kind of guy.

She has a history of panic attacks however, beginning on the day Caylee's body was found. There was also a 911 callout at the jail the night she had the panic attack in the courtroom. If that was indeed ICA, would she not be on some kind of ongoing medication?

Think about it, though, if she killed her own baby girl, she SHOULD be having panic attacks....Sadly though, she only has them when it's about her, she panics for herself...poor me.

A nurse from Bay Pines is a nurse from the jury pool he had never met before but they work @ same area.

Big Big Red hugs to all ya'll!! I have had my 3 year old granddaughter here all day so she can WORK and GO TO SCHOOL. ( Hear that Casey) And I had to take my sister to the doctor. I am now back and working and restocking the bar!

Can I give a big shout out to 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 for his deft handling of the servers?:rocker:

wow... there is a nurse that is in this guy's office that is also on the jury panel!\

interesting

Casey seems to really love being able to cover her hands with her sleeves.

Typical girly action rarely done by adult women as well as wrapping the sweater around.

She's always done those things.... I'm surprised she hasn't seemed to mature much in jail.....she's 25 now!

Brings to mind the image of John Couey, coloring book and crayons.....along with pure evil.
