Well what-ever it is or was, it just about blew the server on WS. WOW!

I see three possibilities:

1. Baez asked to withdraw from the case.
2. Baez was fired by KC.
3. KC has decided to plea.

They still had jurors waiting to be questioned, and they now have the courtroom reserved through Saturday, so it is not an issue with jury selection. Mason cannot delay it presently by filing a motion or appealing at this time, AFAIK.

I've been thinking "plea" since yesterday...reading lips is not my specialty but watching interaction between DT & ICA yesterday and picking out a word here and there along with reaction and facial expressions...it just looked like they were discussing a plea and the appropriate time to do it. All jmo

The other thing that confuses me is that Judge Perry didn't ask what Casey's response was to Mason talking to her--he simply recessed court til tomorrow. This means to me that Judge Perry must have some idea of what Casey's response was to whatever Mason discussed with her.

It was my understanding that Baez could not withdraw from the case since he is the only one who has been paid by KC before she was declared indigent.
But I am happy with the other two choices JWG!

I need to go back and watch CM, see if he is cleaning up JB's space at the table...

Hmmm. I wonder if Casey was begging the judge for one more day...just like she begged her mother for one more day!

Casey was crying when she appeared out of her recess room, I think she fired Baez.

A Plea makes no sense because JP asked "Have you spoke to the defendant about this"....If it was a plea of course they would have talked to her.

Yes, she can ask the Judge to remove him, replace him if she so chooses. And, I am certain she would come up with a whopping tale that leaves the Judge no choice.

Did anyone else notice how HHJP held up his hand when he asked CM if he had a chance to speak with Miss Anthony? Is was kinda like a gesture of "don't say anything else - just a yes or no" And then immeidately said court is in recess until tomorrow

Why did he hold up his hand like that? He didn't want CM to say ANYTHING other than yes or no.

I'm probably wrong - but I'm guessing she fired Baez.

HHJP asked CM if he discussed "the matter" with miss anthony...

so whatever it is that interrupted court is a "matter"... having to do with Baez not being in in the building

and

a matter that made her come into the room crying
