I think Casey wants to start over, exercise her muscle and show everyone that she has the control and some power. In the Scott Peterson case jury selection took 9 WEEKS

In all honesty, she has a right to do this.

I agree Linda and I am surprised she hasn't done it already IF she did fire him.

Ok I'm totally going to say it. Only in this case could something simple and very procedural such as the jury selection process could turn into a cluster (you know what)!!! I HATE HATE how the DT has turned our judicial process into a three ring circus!

ICA looks like she had been crying when she walked back into the courtroom. I'm watching replays of everything now. Her head is down (not up like usual) and her eyes looked red.

I think they are filing an appeal. I just dont see ica pleaing right now. As far as her crying it could be they told her trial will be delayed again. She had soooooo planed on that rv trip by July. moo

I didn't see her crying but rather looking rather coy and trying to be somber. She was actually smiling. MOO

If you look back at the video of ICA coming back into the courtroom after lunch, and then leaving again after HHJP recessed court, she was not crying... in fact, she smiled several times at different people.

I don't think she was crying at all. I just think she knows that whatever is happening is big.

re: asking for another Judge, I thought when they got rid of Strickland, they could not get another Judge after Perry. Unless of course as some are saying some type of "appeal" re: jury selection going in an unlegal way, which I would think Judge Perry covered all of his bases.

I've been thinking "plea" since yesterday...reading lips is not my specialty but watching interaction between DT & ICA yesterday and picking out a word here and there along with reaction and facial expressions...it just looked like they were discussing a plea and the appropriate time to do it. All jmo

If they were going to plea why isn't JB there? I would have thought he would be present. It must have been worked out earlier because JB disappeared after lunch and the rest of the DT went to the cafeteria.

But we have witnessed that The DT is still filing motions in regards to jury selection

I get a feeling they are going to file a Motion regarding the way JBP is conducting Jury selection...and that he is violating her right to Due Process by trying to speed up jury selection.
