I was so upset this afternoon when this all broke and I could not get in here............

Please don't take it personally Bon - even those of us who had been in here from the get-go this morning got bounced out and took 20 - 30 minutes to get back in each time it happened. At one point the numbers were over 800 and I believe someone said we hit the 1000 mark including guests. We were :anguish: and :pullhair: right along with you!

I don't know if it means anything at all, but take a look at video 4 from today.
http://www.wftv.com/video/27937974/index.html

At 22:03 JB mentions that "while I may sure like to drive back to Orlando early today..." (check out video for the rest of the quote)

Thoughts?

HA HA I know I keep posting my link to that all afternoon .. it speaks volumes to me .. I am still convinced he had to take care of court business related to another client in Orlando

I was thinking, "Not now! This is the time when I don't need the server to crash, please not now, and then I thought I wish they put this thread in the downstairs so only members can view it" This would help it from crashing and if people wanted to watch or view they had to sign up and become a member.

It was like needing a life line and someone dangling it in front of you and poof its gone.

Is that WS up on that laptop? Watch from the beginning..she refreshes and pages loads pretty slow....sure looks like our WS banner to me.

It's actually the WFTV trial blog page:

http://www.wftv.com/caseyanthony/index.html

They have a split screen with the live trial coverage on the upper right and live blog/comments on the left. Craig, the WFTV employee who conducts the blog said that it was their page and he has reason to believe that the defense intern (?) had made a comment on the live blog.

If you scroll through todays comments in the blog in the above link, you'll see Craig discuss it.

At about 3 pm Eastern, we hit the 1974 mark on the site and I know at one point we had 779 viewers on the Caylee thread alone. The previous site maximum had been 1600+ which happened on the day that Caylee's remains were identified. Our admins spent the afternoon scrambling to restore and improve access and we :heartluv: them for it!

I saw that post earlier and started looking for responses. I.Don't.Get.It. If I HAD to form an opinion right now.... I think it probably has something to do with HHBP denying the verbal motion from Ms. Frye. I just don't know.

A million apologies if this is a redundant post, I'm 30+ pages behind.

The local WFTV is reporting (though it's just opinion due to the lack of them citing a source) that they heard that Baez was sick.

I call Billy Liar on that one for a few reasons.

If Baez just has the court cold, then he should have soldiered on like everyone else did.

He didn't seem gravely sick just prior to the lunch break, in fact he asked for an additional 15 mins.

If it was a sudden emergency, then we'd have seen footage (from them helicopters no doubt) of Mr Baez being whisked away in an ambulance.

If he is claiming an illness, he had better have a very sudden onset condition that will still allow you to leave the courthouse under your own steam, and he had BETTER be able to show us the evidence.

As a Fl taxpayer, I'm angry that he has such little regard for the money he is wasting.

Oh and one more thing, how do you ask for an extra 30 minutes lunch, then never even make it to the cafeteria before finding yourself sick enough to have to leave. Oh yes I am angry right now....lol

Bad result from a PSA test? (Just kidding, and a very bad joke at that!)

FWIW Nancy Grace now reporting that the judge left Pinellas and went home to Orange County. Though if he misses his family that might be worthwhile, even with getting up for a 2 hour drive back to Pinellas tomorrow morning.

Thanks...I was just watching another of todays videos http://www.wftv.com/video/27937974/index.html and here she actually posts. Glad she's on WFTV and not here at WS.

NG have any news?

  • #1,333
A guy on NG said that if a plea were to be entered, it'd be done in Orange County, not Pinellas. Then we hear HHJP went back to Orange County . . . . .

  • #1,334
Well.....here's my 2 cents.

1. ICA will NEVER, NEVER, NEVER enter a plea so that's off the table.
2. When ICA and AF are talking, they could just as easily be looking and talking about HHJP and how "unfair" he is.
3. JB is probably having soooooo much fun reading our posts and thinking we care about him.
4. JB feigned a stomach virus, and HHJP was pizzed that he had been duped into giving 1+ hour for lunch, which turned out to be an entire afternoon wasted.
5. Court will start as usual tomorrow, JB will be smirking his usual smirk, and ICA will be making her googoo eyes while tossing her mane.

Of course, totally MOO.

Oh and ETA: I am sure the sidebar had to do with the state striking the juror on that "private" matter he discussed with everyone at the bench. JB wanted him, and state did not. That's all.

I totally agree with all except #4. I think he had something planned ahead of time, thus asking for extra time at lunch. It was Casey's choice to continue without him, and she chose not to. :twocents:

Interesting! Perhaps court will be in session at 8:30 am tomorrow in Orange County... hmmmm

Is Judge Perry married? NG said he went back home this afternoon....

Leonard P said there is no way that ICA will be found guilty of first degree murder

  • #1,337
I had a thought during dinner.

I didn't follow all this when it came up. I've gone to the Florida Bar page and can't really find anything there.

Didn't JB have grievances / complaints whatever filed against him with the Bar? Could the Bar have ruled on these and possibly yanked his license?

On The Bar website it still says he's elegible to practice but wouldn't it take a day or two to post those and he was called in court or the judge was called?

Could someone that followed these complaints weigh in here. Did those get resolved?

If Leonard P turns out to be right this one time, I will eat his cowboy hat.
