EO: want fair, impartial jury who hasn't heard about the case; want jurors who can consider all options. Great for the SA that the DT is feuding.

Pilar Prinz, Defense Attorney: Opening statements are very important.

PO: OS are very important.

JC: State will go first in OS, then DT (JB).

NG wants to talk about women on Florida DR. Number of men vs. women is staggering. Only two women on DR, Tiffany Ann Cole, Emelia Carr; both in their 20s; crimes being described with photos of the inmates on TV screen.

Describing prison conditions on DR. JC: no air-conditioning. Reporter saying no cable TV, etc.

Caller: Did they ever find out who Caylee's father is? Why isn't ICA wearing an orange jumpsuit.

PO: Jurors aren't allowed to see defendants in prison clothes; presumption of innocence vs. guilt.

EO: ICA is a wolf in sheep's clothing.

NG asking JC how ICA was able to convince her family she had a job. JC: by going away from home, leaving in the morning, etc. they thought she was going to work.

Caller sick of ICAs dressed for success look. And apparently caller hasn't gotten the memo that no, Caylee's father has not been identified. Publicly at least.

I don't believe KC knows who the father was/is. And that is really heartbreaking that he didn't have a chance.

Order of opening statements:

Pros first then Baez. Statistics what about women on FL death row. (showing graphics? not sure can't see tv). A lot more men than women. There are only 2 women on death row, both in 20's. Discussing the cases (what the convicted women did). NG says okay just the type you want to take home to mom.

Robin L.: death row accom. I'm not 100% sure but I think that KC will be kept away from other prisoners. No cell mates on death row. No air conditioning on Death row. No cable TV. Allowed radio and 13 in TV. Allowed to shower every other day. At Lowell? Correctional facility.

ETA: KC will be kept away from prisoners sorry 'bout that.

One of those women on death row is from Jax. She and 2-other guys kidnapped the victims tried to get their bank acct info (not sure if they gave it to them) and they buried them alive. So sad. It was an older couple.

People need to get over what she wears. I have watched plenty of trials and the defendant is always going to look presentable. And if possible, innocent. It is a fact of life. We all have to live with it.

Yeah - I agree, I'm patient enough to wait for the blue uni IYKWIM - she's not really rocking a high-money look so I'm fine with that - especially once the jury sees her "usual" attire in the photos...

Exactly! Peter Odom just explained why she is not in an orange jumpsuit. A defendant cannot appear before a jury in "prison clothes".

I think she does but for some reason she DARED not tell CA who it was.
Dr Michael Baden stated on Fox that LE knew the identity, from DNA testing, but it hadn't been released to the public. That was right after Caylee's remains were found.

Actually they can... they just have a right to choose not to. I can tell you, it would matter what crime I committed, I would be stuck wearing an orange jumpsuit because my mother would never provide clothes for me if I committed a crime.

I don't either... And it bugs me when people go over and over and over and over.. about who her dad is. It seems pretty clear that she doesn't even know. Thus CA & GA trying to make the perfect little family seem more "normal".

Caylee's voice will be heard when Mr. Ashton, Ms LDB, and Mr. George get up and start talking about the horrific way Caylee was found in the woods, the way her mother partied, when they question all the witnesses, and when they reveal all the evidence. I hope they show pictures of the smiling, playful Caylee, and immediately followup with pictures of her poor little deceased, abandoned skeleton. What would be ideal would be to show pics of Caylee in the same outfit found with her in the woods.
