Well it may not be legal but really if one is on trial for their life, is it really that out of the question to expect them to get up on the stand and explain themselves/defend themself?! Unless they are mentally challenged or completely inarticulate, It does seem logical to me!

Is it driving anyone else nutso that ICA is taking notes on jurors like she's a attorney and not a murderer (alleged)? And why does she have such a fancy pen? I don't even have a fancy pen like that. WHY is she being treated this way! OMG!!!

Rumor has it...it's a shock pen that was given to AF to use during her DP voir dire......she was onto it though and passed it to KC.

It's all about self-implication. You could have a completely innocent person testify for themselves and the jury take things a certain way that implicates them instead (too forthcoming, too willing to offer up certain details, etc).

Most attorneys advise against it for this reason.

Okay, is this woman from the jurors picked yesterday? Because if she is from the panel yesterday, she was not sworn in until yesterday and had no directions to not watch the news, not discuss the case, etc... IF that is the case, they can not use that against her. Pinellas County is abuzz with this jury selection. Of course they are going to hear about it taking place there and the problems with the jury selection.

The word you just put in parenthesis (alleged) is why she is being treated the way she is.
