Hi, while we are waiting could someone give me a definition of a "stealth juror"? I see the term used occasionally and to most here it is probably elementary but I'm wondering how that could happen. Will probably look it up but if someone would like to step in here a minute and give me a basic working definition I would appreciate it. TIA

It's someone who has an agenda..IOW! Wants on the jury for their own reasons like maybe $$$ down the road or something else that will benefit them..I suppose it can also include an agenda involving the verdict but that doesn't seem as likely to me in this case.

I think this 'con' can be pulled on both the state & defense if they're not sharp enough to catch on but my guess is most often they do.

She heard jury duty was Monday May 9th and thought she was in the clear..so she researched on Monday
