It is judged case by case. The last thing a jail wants is for the star of trial to commit suicide three days before the trial.

Pinellas didn't have a suicide watch section so she was put in an area to be watched, last I checked she hasn't left Pinellas.

LKB: taking the stand is something a defense atty decides during the trial, not before. In DP trial, maybe during penalty phase. Can't tell you answer until get into trial.

well that I can understand but I wondered if they automatically put them on suicide watch?

I added more up there, thread moves too fast. I think they are talking about KC being in the med ward at Pinellas. She has been there for 2 weeks as that is all Pinellas has for isolation. She is not suicidal if that is what the show is basing the claim on.
