Quotes from Ms. Paris like this one really make you wonder what was going on in the jury room ...
You are supposed to sit down together and figure out what it means when every police officer on the scene, including Caseys own family, cadaver dogs, independent witnesses and SCIENCE put a dead body in the trunk of Caseys car at the exact time her daughter was missing!!! That fact alone is overwhelming evidence of her guilt and the fact that she lied to everyone should have been the end of the trial! You want us all to believe you were too stupid to figure that out? Dont believe it.
Did you ever stop to think that in order for her to be not guilty of any of the charges the entire Orlando Police department, had to be lying? Yet you expect the public to believe that you are all 12 so feeble minded that you chose to believe the biggest liar in modern day history? Not buying it.
An implication of Jury Tampering? Interesting!
The Casey Anthony Jurors: An American Disgrace by Linda Paris
"To the Jurors:
Let me make one thing clear to all 12 of you. Your life as you knew it is over. You will forever go down in history as an American disgrace. You will now have to live with what you have done and peoples reaction to your dirty deed. My hope is that some of you end up in prison when this is over because it is my belief that something very wrong happened in that jury room. Something punishable by law. Something that should land some of you in a federal prison for a few years."

IMO she could never have done that anyway. It's not the way she is. She was always too busy running her cons. A friendship is not going to last too long if you're too busy figuring out ways to steal from your pal! She is a piece of work. Now she will have the added complication, though, of having people seek her out because of her notoriety. She may get preyed on herself instead of being undercover like she used to be. I just worry for anyone who genuinely hasn't heard of her and gets into any kind of relationship with her at any point. She may still manage to find some gullible souls out there. It's really too bad.She won't ever experience the personal closeness of making love for the right reason and trust that mate not to just perceive her to be what Baez called her during the trial. Worse yet, her friends, as well as any love-relationship she may ever enter, will likely only enter that relationship for the sick, twisted "fame" of being somehow connected to someone of her horrid, macabre notoriety.
...
Anybody know what would happen in this or any trial if the jury rendered their verdict and then some of them said "No, that's not my verdict" when being polled?
The chances that you are all dirty…far exceeds the chances that you are all terminal idiots. No one is as stupid as you expect us to believe you are.
I agree that she wouldn't have done that anyway, but it makes it worse now than before because she is now not only branded forever as being Caylee's murderer, but also and probably worse for her is that her penchant to lie to the point of horror has been exposed.IMO she could never have done that anyway. From Paris' blog:
Sadly, I believe this IS the case.
I have a hard time believing the jury was rigged except by collective stupidity and chicken*****tedness  . I tend not to think the worst of people anyway.
I honestly feel HHJP sent the wrong impression to the jury (rush rush rush). I feel this was a tragic mistake.
I also feel he did not spend enough time explaining reasonable doubt.
As of right now, I feel that these jurors were incredibly weak and went along with one jury member. Instead of thinking independently, asking their own questions, holding strong to their own judgement, I believe they followed along, without looking at the evidence presented. They could NOT have formed these opinions based strictly on the evidence. Had I been one of the jurors involved, I would not be very proud of my verdict either. I wouldn't want my name released ever. Most juries talk to the press, answer questions, after the verdict. Not one of these jurors did that. THAT tells me all I need to know.
..hey, they had their chance when the OCCourthouse set up their "special" 17 chair post-verdict media reception area where they all could have faced the music as a GROUP.....but no...off they ran.
...
I heard on one of the news casts not long after the verdict that one of the jurors was doing online courses for a Masters Degree during sequestration. I do not know which juror but it doesn't really matter.
Were the jurors a bunch of lazy fools, or even--as some believe--stupid?
Personally I always thought they just didn't want to be there anymore so they went with what was the fastest way. But in thinking this over, I realize they would have been just as free to leave had they voted guilty on one or more of the lesser charges. So why didn't they? Several admitted they all knew Casey was not innocent, so why vote NG on all the charges of crimes against Caylee?
I am now considering that jury tampering or some kind of payoff might not be out of the realm of possibility.

Yep...it was none other than juror #11, the foreman, who so diligently continued his online courses during sequestration. Ashleigh Banfield discussed it in a video interview that disappeared within 48 hours of it being online. I never went back to see if it was ever put back online, as I didn't want to click "anything FCA", LOL, but here's my post and some other excellent posts about that subject.

It does make you wonder doesn't it? I was left with an uneasy feeling that something just wasn't right with this verdict. The verdict just didn't make any sense. How could anyone totally dismiss all the evidence the state entered? In all the trials I have watched I have never seen a jury so ignorant or are they or was something else at play? It is so hard to believe that 12 people could be this clueless when the evidence was staring them in the face.
Why did none of it mean anything to this jury? Not one piece of it.:banghead: Never reporting Caylee missing or the 31 days of partying it up like it was 2099? Totally dismissed. How could they completely dismiss the testimony of 7 witnesses that said they smelled the decomp in the defendant's car??? HOW? How could they completely ignore that the mandible is never found fixed and in place unless the victim had been bound with duct tape before death? :banghead:
There is something very wrong with this verdict. That is why they ran away like cowards imo.
To rate them at ZERO would be giving them too much credit.
What they did and how they did it is going to be one of the blackest marks on our justice system for many decades to come. It is so hard to get over injustices knowing something shouldn't have never happened.
Even after all this time has past I still feel anger toward these jurors who robbed Caylee Marie of the justice she deserved.
IMO
BBM: This is what has me stumped. Clueless, indeed. But it is very difficult to believe all 12 jurors and apparently some or all of the altnernates were clueless.
In any group of people from various walks of life thrown together at random like a jury tends to be, it is the norm to find at least one with a voice of reason. Yet it appears none in this *random* group possessed the ability to be reasonable in their thought processes.
The few who initially voted guilty were very easily swayed--too easily for me to see it is anything but hinky. I have to wonder what might have swayed them; what went down that was so convincing (or so tempting) that even those who knew the defendant had killed a little child were so quickly led astray to the point of setting the killer free?? Something fishy, IMO.
BBM
..and the 2 who initially voted guilty ---on their 1st 10-2 round ( which was by a show of hands!!!---not secret! ) voted GUILTY --of the most serious charge, 1st degree MURDER, death penalty eligible.
..how on earth does a person go from their belief that a person is guilty of MURDER to-----okay, not guilty ( on even the lowest charge--child abuse!! ) in a matter of hours?
..the "voice of reason" on this jury, was their foreman ( JF on greta---"and they all picked ME!" ) -------and he didn't have a clue.
ETA-------and for anyone IN pinellas county as school is resuming-----this braniac IS the health and/P.E. teacher of someones kids.
