Judges look out for jurors in a BIG WAY. If he sensed they needed to breathe, he jumped in.

Will the defense be forced to waive an opening statement? I mean, what can they can?

But they must have expected this...what on earth did they think the state would say? They must have known it would be a day-by-day breakdown of the days leading up to when LE was finally called...I mean, I knew that much...

I really think that they believed they would be able to surpress alot of that MOUNTAIN of evidence!

News is saying they showed Caylee's last photo alive, next to a picture of her skull....wow.

LDB is doing a wonderful job. I am so thankful to her to hear Caylee's name so much during her opening.

Casey is ice cold. What bother's me most about her behavior is the shaking of her head each time LDB mentions something her mother said to her as opposed to what was texted to her. It's almost as if Casey knows that she is had for what was texted, but she can claim that her mother never said those things, nor did she say what is alleged, and it can't be proven in the least.

If her behavior today depicts what we will see through out this trial, I am certain she will be on death row by the end of summer.

If she's to be saved from death row, she better get her chit together.

Earlier it was posted that the Judge is giving 2 hours for opening statements. I hope no one is here when defense starts, that is what I want to hear.

Wow. Just wow. I wonder if the defense realizes just how in over their head they are.

And the dumbness of Casey - going so many places with video cameras and witnesses!!!! Add in the cell phone pings and this girl really cooked herself!!!!

What the Defense possibly say after this? I just can't fathom what they could possibly say!

I just can't say enough how much I love that LDB went through the entire 31 days - day by day! Also how she kept saying "where is Caylee?"

PS- No time limit on opening statements, as far as I know...some go on half the day or longer...

Oh, OK, I must be mistaken then. I thought HHJP gave each side 2 hours for opening statements.

WOW! That is jarring. Watching it online you don't see any of the pictures presented. I tried watching on HLN, the commercials were killing me though.
