I thought the 6/9 date was a mistake? Everyone was confused (especially CA) and eventually they realized they had the date of father's day confused and were a week off? In other words, Caylee actually disappeared on the 16th, not the 9th.

Baez is doing what defense lawyers must do: He is constructing an alternative narrative to the prosecution case. (Studies show that just negating their evidence doesn't work.) He has made it intricate to account for different phases of the case and hopes that even if you don't believe all its Rube Goldberg elements, you will still accept that Casey was sexually abused and doesn't deserve to be executed.

Exactly, the spaghetti defense. That is what makes me so mad about such a defense. If a client is truly innocent you SHOULD be able to just negate the evidence...there would be no need to make up a story.

But Kronk stole the body only AFTER George put the tape on Caylee. He timed it well.

So Caylee drowns and no one calls the police - George plays with the tape - Kronk takes the body.
