I have to share with you guys. After watching everything and anything on this case and of course being here my hubby thought I (and all of you..lol) was nuts. Yesterday I had the trial on and went to tell him something and he told me ssshhhhhhhhh he wanted to hear the testimony..lol..he is now hooked. I guess we all aren't so crazy after all.

LOL, too funny... i remember getting a call in July 2008 from my mom asking if i was watching NG... turned it on and hubby and I were hooked from that point on. we had a then 3 year old daughter (almost 7 now) and she started asking about Caylee. we didn't realize she was paying attention. of course we turned NG off and that's how i found Websleuths... hubby asked about the case occasionally from that point on. flash forward to last week, he cant wait to get updates as well as he's home right now and watching In Sessions... Of course I had to tell him that IS is pro-defense and to take what they say with a grain of salt.

and, WOW Marcia C. looks fabulous!

Somewhere on the trial morning thread it was stated that the key to the shed was kept hanging on a key rack, until ICA stole too many times, and then it was hidden. IMO, she couldn't break into the shed on her own, couldn't access the locked up shovels in GA's shed. She needed a shovel, she borrows one. 9 days later she asks TL to break into the shed for her. She couldn't do it herself. That's why she borrowed the shovel. IMO.

I think you are right about that. I assumed it was for digging but that makes perfect sense. That's why it had no traces of dirt on it from their yard.

I am kinda starting to think that the duct tape that was on Caylee was originally on the gas can. George is saying that wasn't the duct tape he put on the can. I think the can came back with different tape than it left with. ICA may have used the tape on the cans and then replaced it.

Interesting point however IIRC the LENGTH of the tape (at least one piece) was significantly LONGER than that over the "vent site"

can u use a shovel to break a neck?

Don't know ... but every time I hear about the "shovel" I think about those "damsel in distress" type movies where the woman is running from the intruder and lands in the garage or yard she clobbers the per on the head with a shovel ....

I know ... this case is just making me :crazy:

wonder if a diagram or how to showing how to break a neck with a shovel appears anywhere in Caseys shearches?

oh geez i hope not. i shudder to think that kind of information is even available on the internet, but you know it probably is.

Is there any evidence or even suggestion that KC was involved in sexual activity in the presence of her daughter?

I think RM said they did while Caylee was sleeping. NOT SURE. But think so.

Yeah, I'm not getting why anyone would google "shovel". What would you expect to find? Amazon sale? Wikipedia definition and history of shovels?
Search forum thread re: shovel. I posted your same question.

LOL. My hubby did this too. I thought he had no interest, but he started watching the jury selection with me. I had to take him to the airport last week as he was going to India for a couple of weeks, and he tells me keep me up to date on that case.

So my six year old niece gave herself her first haircut last night. It's really bad and my sister is freaking out. :floorlaugh:

Made me think how Caylee will never get to give herself a crazy haircut. :banghead:

We've all done this to ourselves when we were little... at least most of us and I am sure there are parents here who have experienced this moment with their own children.

Sweet Caylee, I am so sorry!

Why hasn't anyone asked GA if there was bamboo growing in the backyard?

I believe G&C said on Greta that they have alot of bamboo in their yard!:waitasec:

My daughter, age 22, is as hooked as I am NOW. She used to think I was crazy..."are you on that website again?"...But a sshe is out of school for the summer and NOT WORKING at this time...every night she says..."Make sure you wake me up in the morning when you leave so I can watch the trial." I find it so funny. We talk about it all night until last night I said, we have to watch NCIS or something different. I cannot take one more minute of listening to stuff about the defense team!

Never in a million years did I think my daugher would get up VOLUNTARILY at 7:00 a.m.

one of the other internet searches was "household weapons" - so who knows where she went and how shovel figured into that thought process.

I gots a ? TL is from Long Island, RM is now living in IL - so, we know there is A LOT of testimony from both of them - especially TL. Who pays for them to come here and stay (if needed by court until excused)?

Interesting to read the tweets regarding certain jurors and then reviewing their profile.

Several tweets indicate that Juror #11 is on the edge of his seat today listening.

Juror # 11 is the PE teacher with an FBI Uncle. Had read about the case a little in People magazine and knew about the smell in the trunk from news reports.

Thank you so much for the juror sticky.

Reading tweets and putting reactions to witnesses and questioning together with bios really opens up the dynamic in a fabulous way.

This one kind of made me nervous, though:

@stevehelling - Steve Helling
If I were the #CaseyAnthony prosecution, I'd be worried about juror 11. If anyone is buying what the defense is selling, I think it's him.

can u use a shovel to break a neck?

After rendering someone unconscious with chloroform, I would suppose it would be feasible for such person to make sure a person is dead, to use a disposable cloth or towell to cover the neck and then use a shovel over that to break the neck.

Don't know.

good thought....and I'm NOT sure but I don't remember that in any discovery.:banghead::banghead:

:twocents: For reference: a "nice" thrust into the throat area would break the hyoid bone, a strong, straight "thrust" either into or across the nape of the neck while the victim is prone would accomplish it. Be advised that IF the epidermal layer were lacerated, copious amounts of blood would FLOW!

:floorlaugh: PS: not providing a "how to" recipe, just information
