I wish he would say I may not have called Casey but Cindy was in tuch with her daily so I did not think she was missing.

Not that it matters but I feel just the opposite! :)

I have a name for you....Scott Peterson.....now how well did that go..

Oops meant to get the post above yours.....I agree Baez is not looking too good at the moment.

I'm guessing it's because he feels he is being attacked, and is feeling defensive.

Doesn't want to be tricked. He said that to JA at his deposition. Now he knows it's JB he has to watch out for. Remember he was a cop so he knows how DL's and SA's work.

If the defense is attempting to show that GA already knew that it had been Caylee in the trunk and that is why he is "distancing himself" and/or not wanting to touch "evidence" and/or didn't report it to the police.....then why isn't there any evidence of chlorine in the trunk. If she drown in the pool and was placed in the trunk...wouldn't there be evidence of chlorine?

They didn't use chlorine in the pool, it was a salt water filtration system. If I remember correctly.

I disagree because at that moment he was thinking like that. He was a distraught and frightened parent/papa.

Cindy should have called, George should have called yep...but they didn't...he should say hindsight, wish I had and we could move on. JB has given me a whole new feeling for GA...I feel for the guy...that is bad for the DT. The jury will react the same way...we will see.

My 6 year old just asked me what I was watching and I turned the volume off and said a little girl died and they think her mommy had something to do with it and his eyes got really big and said you mean her mommy killed her? that is just wrong mommy that is just wrong...I know you would never EVER kill me.......brought tears to my eyes and gave him a big hug and tickled him......

Doesn't matter, he's still getting his point across. You can't unring a bell. GA should have never driven that car home.

George needs to just spit out the truth, the WHOLE truth, and nothing but the truth.

Ducking now...

:truce:

IMO

There was no reason for the Anthonys NOT to take that car home. At that time, all they knew was that KC had lied to them and that she was "ducking" them. She was telling them EVERY SINGLE DAY that Caylee was having fun at various parks, the beach, etc. KC hadn't shown any signs of being a murderer or of hurting Caylee, so why should they immediately think that the car was "evidence"? Evidence of what? One's daughter lying as to what she's doing - one's ADULT daughter, more specifically - is not reason to call the police.

The jury definitely knows now there was a dead body in that trunk and we haven't even got to the forensics/cadavar dogs yet. Thanks Jose!

If my daughter was talking to my wife frequently, telling her all the things my grandaughter had been doing, I don't think I would believe her body had been in the trunk of the car I smelled decomp. in if I didn't see it. I wouldn't want to believe it.

Frankly, if I were a person who wanted to protect my daughter way beyond the point of legality or morality, I might think, there was the body of SOMEONE ELSE in the car, who was not Caylee, and I should talk to Casey, or have my wife talk to Casey, before I called the police.

I think that that might be exactly what GA and CA did and he's afraid to tell the truth.

I think the truth that he is "hiding", is that he did believe it was decomp and that his lovely daughter did something and they needed to "cover it up" immediately, then call the police... JMHO

I don't know how Casey sleeps at night. But I am guessing this was the way of that household, Casey and Cindy against George all the time. This time Casey went way too far.

The jury is not dumb. They are not going to buy that Casey sat in a jail cell for 3 years with all of these secrets facing a death penalty case. The whole Nanny story etc. Can't wait for LE to take the stand.

The jury doesn't understand the totality of this family's dysfunction to be able to put GA's demeanor into context.

I was thinking along these same lines, wondering how I would perceive GA if I hadn't seen him/read his words before. And I couldn't imagine it. It's too hard to separate what I've seen before and have a totally new, fresh reaction to him.

How the heck can the jurors separate the news coverage they've seen from the impression they get of ICA in the trial? Their minds must work very differently!

The sad thing about this is I think GA really cared more about Caylee than anyone else in the family. Eventually he went along with CA covering for KC, but in the beginning he was working with LE to find out what happened to her. CA never was.

In that heat it all would have been dried and evaporated before entering the trunk. Pool Chlorine is not that concentrated.

I wish GA wouldn't be so combative.

That's why I think he is still protecting Casey to a point. He will not do time for her and be labeled a child molester nor have to dodge a boat load of legal trouble if he admits to an accident and committed fraud by collecting donations for a dead child and set up a foundation in her name.

BBM

This is a woman who murdered her own child just so she could be free to party, spend the night with Tony and live her "bella vita". Is it any wonder that she'd gladly sacrifice George, Cindy, and Lee to save her own slimy neck?

I really don't understand why (no matter blood thicker than water) why George doesn't try to help convict KC any chance he can (I'm talking about being honest). I believe he knows in his heart she killed Caylee.

They will never, ever, have any communication with each other the rest of their lives when this is over.

JB is very animated at sidebar. At one point HHJP was pointing his finger at him.

CM looked to be trying to reign JB in.

So...the DT is agreeing that Caylee was dead in the trunk?
