I hope not. If CA had a difficult time viewing Caylee's photo and asked for it to be removed, I'd like to think she will stay away from viewing any and all media surrounding this trial until it's complete.

I think she'll try to do that in general but if she gets wind of KC's 'freak out' against her today you don't think her curiosity will get the better of her?

About twenty seconds into her meltdown you can clearly see her saying "She only did (said) that to hurt me".
Everything is still all about ICA.

Not to excuse Casey AT ALL, but today this made me think that maybe just maybe, they were terrible parents to Casey(violence, molestation, who knows what else) and that is what made her a nut job. Especially when someone posted CA's myspace quote where she says something about giving caylee a "safe" place to live. Was it unsafe for Casey when she was younger? That makes even more sense about ICA jealousy and hatred for her daughter. This also is a common theme in many killers lives. Shi**y parents, then they have a child or grandchild later in life that they try to do right by because they know they ruined their other childrens lives and this makes the other children NUTS and want to harm and kill the sibling or person loved by the parents.

IMO....we've seen and read pretty much ALL the docs/interviews in this case....if nothing else, KC's parents were the ones who cleaned up her "messes". Like credit card debts that KC ran up....checks stolen....the list goes on.
In the past year or more, we've seen her parents, thru ALL the damning evidence, stick by their daughter and TOTALLY believed her from the get go....again, making excuses and, as usual, tried to clean up a "mess" even too great for them.

If you've watched the motion hearings...which, BTW, CA didn't miss one....CA was ALWAYS trying to get KC's attention...just a look, a wave, a smile from KC is all CA wanted...usually, she got NOTHING!!!
STILL, even though they almost foreclosed on their house, to this day, they deposit money into her account for snacks, etc.

IMO, KC spent all her life trying to pit CA against GA. GA seemed to be "wiser" to KC's BS, so to speak. IIRC, in one of LA's interviews, he mentioned something about KC and GA not getting along too well lately
(2008). It seemed that GA started to poke around a little into KC's business...IIRC, like the Sports Authority (?) story of being held up while working. She was getting PO'd at GA because he was beginning to show some b*lls and started questioning her, again IMO.

Plain and simple...CA was ALWAYS trying to get some sort of acknowledgement from KC at the hearings....KC knew it....you could tell. She gave CA a little "something" every now and then.
KC expected CA to be looking for that wave, or smile.....or for CA to mouth "I love you"....when CA didn't, KC realized she wasn't the "head of the corporation" anymore.
We saw at one of the motion hearings about the 911 calls, when CA had to get on stand and she was STILL in "clean up" mode, it looked like KC mouthed "Thank You" to her mom as she got off the stand.

As I always say....my childhood wasn't AT ALL like growing up with the Cleaver's, as I'm sure a good many of us here had similar ones...in fact, it was pretty tough....even kinda "*****ty". Parents don't ALWAYS "cause" their children to turn out the way they do....having a crappy childhood isn't an excuse to do ANYTHING wrong....and just sometimes, as far as "I" go, that childhood made me a better person. When I was a tad bit younger, I found it verrry easy to blame my parents for EVERYTHING that was wrong with me, or anything that happened that was bad in my life. When I "let go" of that feeling and philosophy....and was forced to grow up and accept the results for my actions, I realized "I" wasn't what my parents "were".

Again, just IMO.


Oh, and I wonder if LA's gonna mouth "I love you" to KC....or would that be just a little creepy...since she's accusing him of molestation, as well???
I STILL laugh when I think of LDB saying to LA something to the effect of "you're not saying that to me, are you??" LOL

I think KC's first sentence when she was pointing her finger at CA was " She did that to hurt me" Talking about CA hugging GA. The next sentence I couldn't understand the first part then "Why Now?"

Maybe she just figured, and Jose convinced her, that GA would fall on his sword for her. Admit he abused her and that Caylee drowned. Maybe she is saying that G and C told her to go with the Zanny story and if it didn't work....they would tell the truth to set her free. 3 yrs. in jail for nothing.

She had to confirm it but I got the feeling it was very difficult to do so.

We could not see the photos that LDB displayed during her opening statement but apparently she had the cute little Caylee on one side,and a photo of Caylee's skull with hair attached, as found in the muck, on the other side. I was hoping CA/GA didn't see that, but apparently everyone could,so...

CA has ALWAYS sided with ICA over GA. She told him to quit checking up on her. She told him over and over "I'll handle Casey". She confided her dissatisfaction with GA to ICA. I think she even kicked him out of the house for ICA. Never in a million years did ICA think she would choose GA over her. But then the shocking allegations against GA, and even more, the allegation that Caylee drowned because CA left the pool ladder up. ICA is saying Caylee's death is CINDY's fault. Boy oh boy did JB flub up this one by stripping ICA of two of her biggest defenders.

IIRC, Baez said something like this to GA:

"Isn't it true that Casey didn't want you to move back home?"..GA denied it but IF it was at all true (I believe it probably was but NOT cos of prior "sex abuse" which Baez was trying to imply) then there's at least one example of CA siding with GA over ICA cos he did eventually move back in.

I think ICA became immediately inflamed when she saw CA hug GA. She expects CA to believe her molestation allegations against GA. ICA was used to and expected that her mother would turn her back on her husband for her. When she saw the hug, she knew the opposite was true. Thus the tantrum we were able to witness.

CA was the last of her hope as far as parents were concerned. She knows she's up a creek. I don't see Lee copping to any allegations so.. yeah, here's the paddles ICA!

It took a long time for C&G to see KC without their blinders on-but they got there-but the road they still have ahead of them is still very long and filled with potholes. I hope they make it so they can have some happiness in their life thru Lee and Mallory!

When CA stepped down from the stand the camera went to KC's face only and I could see KC's eyes boring into something (I figured later..KC was "willing" CA to look at her!) Man! that was all so interesting! I MEAN! KC snubbed her parents for years and today CA returned the favor. Right after the one sided staring thing KC pitched this fit. Imagine, KC has the nerve to "demand" that CA look her in the eyes. Why? so KC can try to control CA with a disapproving look? It's amazing that KC would think she has that type of power. I loved the meltdown!

BBM ITA Very interesting. Sociopaths only are interested in people they can use to advance their agenda. They are uncanny at reading people and gathering 'victims' (i.e., people whom they can prey on.) Casey was able to keep Cindy in tow all these years by feeding her lies that Cindy bought. By "willing Cindy to look at her" as you say, I believe that she was attempting to engage her and draw her back into Casey's domination over her.

Oh goodnesss gracious. Something just came to me. Many of us thought Casey was planning on offing the parents (hence the searches on "household weapons" "neck breaking" etc.) while she was telling her friends her parents were getting a divorce and she would be getting the house.

It is crystal clear to me now that Casey planned this all along! The lies about the abuse by George. She knew Cindy was wrapped around her finger as far as believing her lies, while George was on to Casey. I recall Cindy saying at one point when Casey and George said conflicting things that she (Cindy) didn't know who to believe anymore. Many of Casey's friends say she told them she hated her father and didn't get along with him. It was observed by some that Casey got enraged at the point when she saw her mother leave the courtroom with George. Casey was banking on her mom siding with her, divorcing George (b/c of the alleged abuse,) and George being charged with the coverup of Caylee's demise, and Casey herself (another 'victim' of this - her own words) would get off scott-free to live la bella vita, being rid of the two people weighing her down most, Caylee and George.

Hope this all makes sense. What a crazy ride this has been. I need a stiff drink and I don't drink!

Casey has always been the manipulator, the power player. I just do not see her as some zombie from parental abuse of any kind. She has found a way to get everything she wants without working, without responsibility, without one thought for anyone else. Cindy's family has seen her spoil this girl for years.

If she had even hinted at abuse to Cindy...George would not only have been out of the house but in jail. But it suited Casey to have them both there to play off each other...to con and collect from. Daddy to clean her car every weekend. To run her errands. Grandma to rip off with bad checks. And Mom who would ALWAYS take her side.

If Caylee had drowned, Casey could have just told them anything and in days Cindy would be blaming the pool manufacturer. But Cindy would not forgive that precious little face wrapped in duct tape, reeking of chloroform. So Casey needed Caylee to be in that swamp...until enough time had passed for a story she COULD pass off.

Reading these emails again...THAT is a real picture of the real family dynamic. Rick Pleesa doesn't have to guess. He and his parents have seen Caylee bloom into a monster before their very eyes.

This is no powerless abused child. This is THE power player of that family...who became the chief abuser.

IMO -- I'm taking time to keep going over her diatribe. In the trial thread (I posted as I saw it), I got the general: she didn't look at me (or over here) once!.

After watching it again, it could be: She was never a mother to me! This is because I see two syllables in the word that sounds like: hurt.

I was watching the "ICA only" camera for most of Cindy's testimony and I can assure you that what got ICA going initially was the pool and garden talk - probably because it blows the defense theory out of the water.

But what enraged ICA was Cindy's crying about Caylee, the bed, the pictures, etc. You could actually see the rage grow and grow, I was sure Baez was going to tell her to cool it but he's trying to be slick for the jury so he didn't or it didn't work - so ICA worked herself up into a right old lather and the kicker was Cindy not looking at ICA on the way out at all.

Cindy gave ICA her biggest clue - she stopped looking for Zany 6 weeks ago and as soon as she said that ICA knew exactly what that meant.

Another clue: When Cindy said that Cayley's play mailbox in the yard originally belonged to Casey, Casey shook her head 'no' with a serious, look on her face. Interesting.
