IMHO

SA's best bet if ICA testifies is LDB. ICA is intimidated by strong, intelligent, professional women. LDB will be able to maintain control and a cool, calm demeanor. I would be concerned JA's temper may get the better of him on cross. (I must admit I love his passion though!)

I don't know? KC truly HATES JA. She is fearful and intimidated by him. She is afraid that he wants to kills her. When facing JA she will be more prone to lose it on the stand and let the true KC come out. If she takes the stand I don't think the SA will really care about the specific details of what she says. After all she hasn't said anything to date that hasn't been a lie. Why expect that to stop now? What they want is emotion and reaction and her true face in front of the jury. So I think she would get JA.

Casey cannot stand her mom and I am learning of how much during this trial. I totally think she killed Caylee because she hates her mom so much. I just think they chose to throw George under the bus because of him being a cop.

I think CA and GA are going to start receiving lots of support now from all over the country......people are going to be so happy that they have finally seen ICA for who she truly is...... And I think that will help them to continue on their path to see that Caylee gets the justice that she deserves from her grandparents and hopefully Uncle Lee, also.
I have not been a CA or GA fan for a very long time now but today I saw a woman who is totally grief stricken at the loss of her beautiful Caylee....can't even begin to imagine the pain that she and George are going thru, waking up every day has to be a total nightmare for them...almost unbearable!

The said fact is that most of us have known that Caylee has been gone for 3 years. For CA she has only known for about 6 weeks.

I don't think this is the last tantrum we will see from KC, she got lucky that the Jury was out but she has to sit thru weeks of her family finally telling the truth and like Judge Strickland said, Miss Anthony and the truth are strangers. I don't think it will be long at all before she has another meltdown.

Yes, Casey certainly has to be in control. There are some parallels between her meltdown today and how she was acting in her much-publicized phone conversation with her parents while she was in jail - a conversation that has a lot more meaning when heard in its entirety rather than as a tabloid TV soundbite.

Speculation: As a precaution, she may be back on suicide watch.

ICA playing victim, knowing the cameras were on her. Repressed? Intimidated? Really?No way that's going to fly, JB. Better cancel plans for that movie/book deal. ICA must spend hours every day wandering through the paths of her flawed brain cells rehearsing speeches for different scenarios. The one fact you overlooked is that Caylee Marie has a strong pure spirit of goodness that is going to outshine any dirty plot you propose.

You are exactly right. This was when they were called to JB's office and told of the defense strategy according to the the A's lawyer. I'm glad they are stepping up for what's right but am disappointed that it had to get to this point for them to do it.

You know what though? A lot of ICA's friends testified that ICA was a wonderful Mom to Caylee so maybe it was jut really really hard for Cindy to deal with it? Some people just need a reality check maybe this was it. You can tell that Caylee's death has been extremely hard on the both of them.

Casey has always been the manipulator, the power player. I just do not see her as some zombie from parental abuse of any kind. She has found a way to get everything she wants without working, without responsibility, without one thought for anyone else. Cindy's family has seen her spoil this girl for years.

If she had even hinted at abuse to Cindy...George would not only have been out of the house but in jail. But it suited Casey to have them both there to play off each other...to con and collect from. Daddy to clean her car every weekend. To run her errands. Grandma to rip off with bad checks. And Mom who would ALWAYS take her side.

If Caylee had drowned, Casey could have just told them anything and in days Cindy would be blaming the pool manufacturer. But Cindy would not forgive that precious little face wrapped in duct tape, reeking of chloroform. So Casey needed Caylee to be in that swamp...until enough time had passed for a story she COULD pass off.

Reading these emails again...THAT is a real picture of the real family dynamic. Rick Pleesa doesn't have to guess. He and his parents have seen Caylee bloom into a monster before their very eyes.

This is no powerless abused child. This is THE power player of that family...who became the chief abuser.

Been a lurker on this particular trial thread, took a break after the last case I followed. These cases take on an almost obsessive quality for me.

lCA defintely has a big problem and is just now getting it. She does not maintain friendships or boyfriends more than likely because CA and GA are the only 2 people in the world who rationalize, deny and accept lie after lie after lie after lie. Usually people realize others have an issue with lying and find a way to distance themselves after it is evident NOTHING is the truth. I truly in my heart believe today is the day that ICA realized her parents are no longer on board. She can't lie and say GA abused her for years and her mother immediately fall on her side. I will agree that JB should have NEVER made it appear that CA had anything to do with that baby's death. It was the turning point IMHO.

I will admit, up to this point, well after GA's day in court, I didn't particularly care for either one. The last few days though, I am feeling so sorry for them. That river of denial they have been swimming in has dried up.

That is amazing. You nailed it for sure. I could only make out "three years" and that was it! Chilling to think this is her frame of mind. Angry that people aren't lying and ruining their image for her. Is she really 25? She seems to think like a 12 year old. What a sense of entitlement!

Also, I thought she was shaking her head because Cindy was saying how ALL of the work and effort was done by she and george and lee. They did the planting, bought the lil mailbox, put in the tile floor, [ made me feel guilty cuz my kids was on the wet grass] ...etc etc. And poor casey felt so put out not to get any credit for being such a good mom. imoo

I took the 3 year comment in the hissy fit as, Casey is mad because Cindy made it sound like CASEY DID NOTHING FOR Caylee for 3 years. Casey isn't getting any credit for being the MOTY.

I do not necessarily agree with this.

My sister was very much like ICA--she lied, told lies upon lies upon lies upon lies incessantly. The only person that mattered in her life was HER--not her two lovely daughters, not her husband, not our mother, not our brother, not me, not ANYone--ONLY HER.

She would stand and argue about the color of the sky, the clouds, the grass, even when it was so very obvious that it was a different color. She would tell so many complex lies, in fascinating detail, and if you happened to catch her in a discrepancy her response was "What the f--- are you talking about? You're sick!! I know what I said, and I never said that!"

She destroyed family relationships, telling lies about one person to another and then turned around and told different lies to the second person. If you wanted to be a part of her life, you had to denounce any relationship with other members of our family, by pledging your allegiance to HER and to believing in her lies.

I stopped talking to her the year that she psychologically destroyed my mother because I could no longer handle the tremendous pain that she inflicted on everyone around her. I have enough of my own personal health problems that I just did not want any of that stress any more.

She committed suicide 3 years ago--when all of her lies caught up to her and she was backed into the last corner. There was no way out for her so she took the last SELFISH act of her life and swallowed 80 OxyContin pills, locked herself in the front seat of her car and went to sleep.

It would not surprise me in the least for ICA to find herself at the end of her hallway, dead-ended with nowhere else to go, and taking that last SELFISH way out.

She would, effectively, be telling the world "F--- you, I WILL get the last word," leaving the rest of her now-destroyed family to live with unwarranted guilt for the remainder of their lives.

ICA, just like my sister, is one evil, conniving, piece of human matter. She scares the hell out of me, and I worry about ANYONE else that ever comes into contact with her. She will destroy you, turn and walk away laughing and not give you another thought.

SHE DOES NOT CARE.

She is evil incarnate and diabolically clever.

I'm wondering if Casey and her defense caught the part when Cindy basically testified that Caylee was still alive at 4:00-ish the day of the 16th because Casey wanted to leave Caylee with her. So, the story about Caylee drowning in the pool (in the morning) is disproved because George was at work by 4:00-ish that afternoon. Casey had a very, very bad day today. I am so happy she worked herself up and I hope she goes through this the entire trial. Funny how she can dish it out, but can't take it.

I hope the jury is taking good notes. Can they request transcripts of all the testimony??

IMO she will get on the stand because she thinks her lies will be believed IMO. She thinks she can outsmart them all,boy is she in for a rude awakening.The SA's will pulverize her!

Correct me if I am wrong. Can a defense attorney but his client on the stand if he knows she is lying? If JB knows the story is BS, then he couldn't have her testify to that, right? That's assuming he has any morals or respect for the legal system, which we know he doesn't.

Where were ICA's emotions during the whole 20+ years of her existence when she was covering up for her "molestation"? I wish the jury had seen this outburst from her. Why is she so capable of crying now? She reminds me of a bird that refuses to leave the nest. Winny the Pooh at 16 in her room? Wow. This is not a Michael Jackson complex this is something else.

She tells her mother (whether this is true or not we may never know) she is preggers on Cindy's parent's wedding anniversary. the death of Caylee happens after father's day. ICA accuses Lee of molesting her during year(s) of his life when he was in and out of the hospital and couldn't even drive a car...he almost died. She is all about "ME...LOOOKKKKK AT MEEEEE! She wants to be acquitted to get away from them. Oh my, but she loves spending that money they put in her account. Don't worry, ICA, you will get away from them, but not in the way you want.

I believe there is a loophole so to speak cakegirl that basically means that a defense attn. can put a client on the stand because it isn't up to the attn to determine if the defendents story is accurate. The defense attn. can't know the specifics of any crime unless they were an eyewitness to it. If you know what I mean.

I don't know what the ethics are if a client looks a defense attn in the face and says I'm going to lie on the stand...someone here probably knows.
