I left the house for a while this morning right after I heard the motion hearing. I haven't had a chance to catch up on the trial thread or this one but wanted to make a comment about Casey's shirt. Someone upthread said that it was ugly, and that's OK, but I have three of these long-sleeve tees that I believe are Victoria's Secret. Mine are olive, plum, and red; they look fabulous with jeans. BTW, I'm 61 and love VS!

...On you Bette, I'm certain - as for me, there aren't enough spanx in the world to pull that off - I believe I am entering the caftan phase of my fashion life (well, not quite...:innocent:)

I can't figure out what Baez can cross her on. He can't bring up the abuse at this time. I think he might just let her go.

to see ICA comiong back into court before after the break.. SMILING AND LAUGHING... then... the CALL...forget the last 911.. the FIRST jailhouse call from this 'loving mother'...all me me me me me me me.... ALL OF IT.... she cares less for her mother and less for her then missing daughter... 'all they care abut is getting caylee back'..... THATS RIGHT!!! no one was pressing her to lie... she was in jail... safe... she didnt only keep up the story.. blames all around her and states no one is listening to her.... i think the jusry after this call... after REALLY hearing HER the day after she said caylee was missing.... the day after being arrested... its still all about her!

She seems to be wanting the prosecution to be helping the DT.
I think IS has to be "fair and balanced," (no "trial by media") plus, if she tics them off, she won't get any interviews later.

The trial thread flies so fast that I can't keep up and thank everyone for their posts and observations.

So, THANK YOU!

Arrrrgh. Nursebeeme, you just reminded me. Cross. THAT should be pleasant. I hope Cindy recovers enough to not let JB mix her up.

I seriously doubt that CA is in any mood for JB's BS!

These threads are flying so fast that I can't see if this has been mentioned...

but...

the tweets reporting that juror number 4 looked up and shook her head at ICA?

According to Discovery Investigation's juror profiles, juror number four is the AA juror that a lot of folks were worried about, since she said she couldn't stand in judgement of others.

Of course, that was before she met The Inmate.

Just sayin'

Quoting hoping that gitana sees this. She's been so worried about this juror.

I don't think Casey could ever take responsibility for anything, and will fight this to the end. JMO, but I really believe she is enjoying the pain her mom feels. I think she enjoys it because it is payback for the jealousy she felt towards Caylee. It almost seems she wants to crack a grin when her mother breaks down.

Yeah, her lack of emotion and anger was pretty overwhelming while CA was on the stand looking like she was dying inside.

I'm glad CA and GA are now on Caylee's side but it is still devastating to watch / listen to.

I want him to ask her what George said and did when she was on that 911 call! When she told him Caylee is missing!

I double dog dare him!

The DT is going to have to tread VERY carefully on cross examination.

CA was visibly distressed today, if the DT uses their usual smarmy, bullying style, they will come across as cold as their client.

"an effin' whim" This says it all. That's all Caylee was to CA!!

I think the jailhouse phone call could be put into the DSM-IV as a textbook example of an unintelligent sociopath sounds like.

IMO, she's not remotely unintelligent. Just a female sociopath.

I'm off to go run the vaccum and do the dishes, it's cleaning scramble time! I need to work off that phone call home, every time I hear it my blood pressure rises.

:blowkiss: to all, its been a rough morning and this afternoon is going to be really rough with the cross coming up. I'm hoping JB doesn't further stick the needle in ICA's arm by being mean to CA. (I have a feeling he will be though)

I really think Condy's actions up until 6 weeks ago were all motivated by the fact that she still held out hope that this was all a lie and Caylee was still alive- they said so in 2009 at GA, LA and CA's depositions (even after the memorial/remains being found). I do not fault her for holding on to that sliver of hope even if it meant she seemed evil to other people in the case.
What is crucial is that she now knows the truth and she is doing what is right. It it excruciatingly painful to watch her go through this knowing this is the first time she is reliving this nightmare with the knowledge that Caylee is really gone and her daughter had something to do with it.

They shear VOLUME of lies Casey came up with; the fake job, people, places they went, car accident, a nanny with a concusion that you still have watch your child, the beach, the wedding, the car repairs - and then she CONTINUES to lie to the dispatcher and even while in jail; all the while casting forth a really defiant and selfish attitude and only wanting Tony's number. The stark contrast between Cindy's actual caring and Casey's indifference must be downright shocking to the jury right about now.

It must be really tough to be a juror and not be able to even comment about it to each other!

IMO
I was posting during during jury selection..that the DT made a HUGE HUGE mistake wanting her on the Jury...
She, IMO, will be the one MOST disgusted with ICA and will sit in judgement of her...
Just because someone says they can't stand in judgement of others does not mean they won't

The Jail call home has shown the Jury, everyone watching, exactly who Casey Anthony is...
All these people reaching out to help ICA and all she wants is Tony's number...

Wait until LE gets on the stand and they play the Universal tapes
