IMO it just shows ICA enjoyed manipulating her mom - especially the fact that he is bringing up that CA bought food to make dinner and ICA cancelled the day of the plans

Good grief. Asking all these questions about J Hopkins: the extent and details of ICA's lies are almost unfathomable. That is what I think JB is accomplishing: showing how extensive these lies are.

Question: why does Baez think Cay\sey would lie about a Jeff Hopkins for a couple of years before the "pool accident".

jb is trying to show how severe the lying was due to ga's abuse. But i think it will backfire - he is just showign what a huge liar kc is and how far she would go with her lies - enough to plan a bbq and have her mom cook for jeff hopkins only to have kc lie and give her an excuse.

The jury will ask themselves if she can lie like this! Why would she tellt he truth about the pool?

IMO, I THINK he's trying to establish that it was Casey's usual habit to lie and make up fictional people, thus minimizing the lies she told to family/LE/911 etc. when Caylee goes missing. It's not going to work, but that's what he's doing.
