I now remember why I didn't like this tape. I don't think they gave her much of an oppourtunity to talk and explain so she can hang herself more. I think quite a few of us felt that way after this interview.

this jury has GO TO BE thinking this girl should have pleaded insanity... this DE can not possibly recover from this and all that is yet to come... look at how these detectives were trying so hard to get her to fess up.. to find this child.. funny though.. the guy on the tape.. not yuri.... kinda sounds like the counselor from southpart... '...mmmkayyyy'

How did they get to that hallway in universal if she didn't work there?? How did they get back there? Sorry, just one detail I missed and it's driving me nuts.

She was able to get through security because she was with Yuri Melich, an officer. Otherwise she couldn't have taken him inside. She didn't have an ID to enter adn they had to talk the guy at the gate into letting them in. IIRC from testimony already provided.......

As someone who is hearing this tape for the first time, I feel it makes it perfectly clear to the jury that if this was by any chance accidental, THIS was her chance to explain. She sounds as if she doesn't care at all...like it is a wallet she is missing, not her DAUGHTER!! The police gave her ample opportunity to come clean. Unreal!

Oh SNAP!!! He even gives her the accidental drowning idea!!
