I believe the "look at me" moment was one of the first witness of the day - one of the lady crime scene analysts...
I just LURRRVED today when Linda redirects Bloise and he said that DT was only wearing gloves and not hairnets. And she just sat there.... waiting... giving it time to sink in and for the jurors to write their notes. That was priceless.
Glad I'm not in the gallery as I woulda "Wooot!" at that moment. LOL
I think Baez's biggest problem as a lawyer is he doesn't know when to stfu. He makes a point, which probably bolsters his confidence, then he shoots himself in the foot.
I don't understand the strategy - most people don't want to see another person publicly 'abused' (for lack of a better word). I don't understand why an attorney would bully someone on the stand who isn't a key witness they'd like to rattle.
Were the hairs in the trunk identified as Caylee's?
Completely and utterly off topic.
May I just say I love our little group here :grouphug:
It's like watching this trial in a room full of a whole bunch of people. I absolutely love what everyone has to offer. It's all different, which is what makes it so great
That is all ....
There is a sexual abuse victim on Vinnie on HLN and she is talking as though it is a FACT that Casey was abused. And in her opinion the jail house tapes show she was abused by her father.
'Of course she would choose her father to reach out to, we always try to get that father we never really had. '
It bothers me, as a SA victim myself, that other victims AUTOMATICALLY believe other abuse victims claims. As a daughter of a defense attorney* I met several wounded men who were falsely accused of sexual abuse. it tore them apart.
* he was not the perp, fwiw

I also posted this in the Amy H Testimony thread..........interesting tidbit! I don't think we've ever seen a transcript from a sidebar.
Watching WKMG talking heads after testimony ended today. Tony P obtained the transcript of the sidebar at the end of Amy's testimony. Apparently, she was served with a subpena by the defense to keep her in FL for the purpose of impeaching her testimony. She was very upset because she had an afternoon flight back to Barcelona. HHJP asked JB what specifically he intended on impeaching her with and he said "I'd rather not say". In the end, HHJP allowed her to leave and said if the DT needs her testimony again, he will arrange for her to appear via Skype! Waiting to see if the transcript appears on Click Orlando!
Here are my "mock juror" comments on the afternoon session:
1). I do believe that Bloise knows what human decompostion smells like, and I do believe him when he states that he smelled human decompostion in ICA's car.
2). I didn't really understand the explanation of the difference between bluestar and luminol, but I'm also not sure it is neccesary for me to understand the difference. The point, as I understood it, was that there was no blood evidence retrieved from ICA's car. I never expected that there would be.
3). I am convinced that Bloise very thoroughly went over ICA's car for evidence. My impression of him is that he is very competent.
4). I am bothered by Bloise's statement that he didn't wear a hair net. I wish that were a requirement, but if the state can show me, through DNA, that the hairs in evidence are connected to this case, my concerns about the hairnet thing are a moot point.
5). I initially thought JB scored a point when talking about Bloise's notes about finding animal hairs in the car. I was especially bothered by the fact that Bloise went on to say he destroyed those notes. VERY bothered by that. I was also bothered by the fact that I couldn't understand Bloise's explanation of WHY he destroyed those notes. On redirect, LDB got a clear explanation of the note destruction out of Bloise, and I was satisfied with that. On re redirect, JB was not able to convince me that there had ever been animal hairs retrieved from the trunk of the car, nor was he able to convince me that Bloise had ever taken notes about animal hair. So...I'm disregarding the animal hair issue altogether.
6).The stain on the trunk liner was barely touched upon, so I'm setting that on the backburner until it is covered more thoroughly.
7). I found the evidence from inside the trunk to be very compelling, but am hoping for more information. I'm sure that's coming.
This concludes your "mock juror" report for today.![]()

I heard her also, and why KC would stay living in her fathers home after claiming child abuse kind of baffles me. All she had to do was move out.
Why keep your child there with a man you claim molested u?
KC does not seem like the kind of girl to keep her trap shut about child abuse for all those years. She walks ALL OVER EVERYONE IN HER FAMILY. JMO
