I wonder about the handling of the paper used to store the items. Were gloves worn when getting it out of the truck?

:great: This witness is looking at the Jury when he speaks ... :great:

Did you see that Mr. Mason ? ?

YES! Gloves are worn ASAP before collecting samples. oh, and CHANGED frequently!

JB: and in fact, if properly packaged we can go back 20 years later and collect?

yes, if the sample is still there and has not been utilized, the whole thing.

THIS makes me very very nervous - where is he going with this??

He did that because if you remember the duct tape was cross contaminated. Just getting it on records about precautions about contamination I believe.

Clerk swears in: Bloisd, CSI Orange country 11 y, prior experience as CSI | San Jaun PD 6yrs and other training in the lower 48 MS Criminal Justice in busines administration

This witness addressing the jury as well. His accent is endearing imo. Another intelligent, great witness for the state.

Heh - the defense is gonna have to get used to all the jury bonding the LE and crime scene folks are doing.

Okay, that cross was just weird. What the heck, Baez?

Baez will try to use her info later to imply that Casey's DNA should have been on the duct tape. ie, she said DNA could still be present after 20 years.
But, his theory will most likely be shot down due to the harsh environment Caylee was thrown into for 6 months.

Baez confuses me......I feel like I have literally lost brain cells after litening to him speak.
