Ha, June 17 State will be finished. Wonder if KC gets all of these coordinating dates.

OT but Leonard Padilla will be on HLN later- he just got a 'Cease and desist' letter from M Lippman, the A's Atty- so of course, being Lenny, he plans to talk about it tonight!

I think ICA is putting forth her scholarly artifice for the scientific study of the evidence--such a knowing look she portrays in her depth of understanding. Then again, she can break out with the trash talk. Wow, this woman is amazing.

I got to tell ya'll....it has been 100 degrees plus here this week. I had gone to the store and when I got home, I was sooo hot, I brought in all my "cold" stuff and said "I'll come out later for the rest"....or so I thought.

I had bought shredded cheese. Later, when I went out and brought everything in, that cheese was one big melted goey mess.

No smell though!! Can I testify?

Oh my how the "stoic" act was gone as soon as the jury left. They have trained her well, grasshopper except ICA comes off as creepy and guilty as she sits like stone.

:twocents:

it bugs the way ICA, leans in, smiles and acts as though, she just left a dinner with friends.

Agreed,

The reason people do not forget the smell, ever, is because though normally our olfactory senses are not that great, when it comes to blood and human decomp, we can scent this in something like 3-5 parts per trillion. For us normal cleaning will not remove the smell, indeed once decomp fluids have soaked into flooring or furnishings, ALL will have to be replaced because we will always detect it, even years later.

With blood if you cut yourself the blood reacts to the skin surface and a metallic smell is given off, it may smell very distinct to us but we are scenting it at 5ppt.

Can the DT take the jury to the car (or bring the car into the courthouse) so the jury can smell it? Why do they have to smell it from a can? The car still smells, right?

He's not happy with the report so he wants to insinuate that the notes contained something more favorable to the defendant.

He started to explain that their policy was to destroy all notes once converted to a permanent record, but JB cut that off quickly so it could sound like error or sloppy note-keeping. I think the Jury saw who was more believable in that exchange...
