This attorney seems to hope to confuse the witness, the jurors, and often times seems to become confused himself.

It just occurred to me that Baez is actually doing Dr Vass a favor here. He is making such a big deal about the "snifter machine," that otherwise not many would have heard of. Anyone working in R& D and scientific evidence is going to know about it now! Go Baez . . . keep helping him out!

I've been watching and not posting, but I've got to say that JB is not only attacking Dr. Vass's expertise, he's attacking his character and the jury is not going to like that.

Dr. Vass is a funny guy! He often looks to the ceiling swirling in the chair when the attorney's head for sidebar.
I wish I were in his thoughts during those moments, and I truly hope someone is able to screencap them!

I get the impression Dr Vass is "sitting on a rainbow" everyday!!! He seems like such a happy go lucky guy who truly loves what he does!

My sister, who is my own "mock juror" says she immediately took a liking to Dr Vass and understood his testimony when JA was up, and she was totally engrossed. She said Dr Vass is delightful, and she just wanted to hug him. She said it's clear he loves his work and is passionate about it.

In her opinion, Baez personally attacking Dr Vass is upsetting the jurors and this will totally backfire on the defense because attacking the good Dr is all Baez is doing.

She said if she were on the jury, she'd loathe Baez for this.

My own opinion is Baez's inexperience is glaringly obvious during this cross.
