There has been some some critisism ( among tv lawyers) of the State in presenting her behavior first rather than after presenting the crime evidence as is almost always done.
I'm thinking the State may have anticipated today's bull s..t. Now the jury has seen her TRUE behavior first and there is a high probability they will not only NOT buy this fake emotion but be DISGUSTED by it.
I'm angry like everyone at what she has pulled here, so I'm not sure if I'm stating my point properly.
I feel such loathing towards this animal I can hardly think straight.

I totally agree! I only wish they could re-broadcast to the jury the jailhouse tape in which she's jealous of her family eating chili, or laughing and preening and asking for her boyfriend's phone number - daughter dead, sitting in jail and she's laughing and talking and thinks she's in a dorm, planning to adopt Irish babies that come with accents at birth and drive her RV around looking for other "missing" children. Yeah.

Contrast that with this faux-sad waif of a woman in a too-small chair and too-big shirt. Right. She's so helpless, isn't she? Small, frail and now SICK! Uh-huh. But she could cope with the smell of decomposition (on her way to Fusion of course) and burying her daughter herself. Chloroform. An interesting read about neck breaking and spleen rupturing. But say the words "duct tape" and she's soooooooooooo sad she can't go on.

What have I missed?

KC had a fit again, left the Courtroom, then was deemed "ill". No media allowed to ask about it, and Court over for today early, (which seemed to anger KC further), jurors have no idea why.

I think Casey was drinking more today than she usually does. There were two empty bottles to her right front and one in front of her. Can to much water make someone up chuck?

She had to re-hydrate from all those tears and the runny nose! NOT!

I guess it's because very few people here have never been to a murder trial or even prepared for one. You don't eat, sleep, and your stress level is beyond high. You have a back ache that even a shot of morphine wouldn't help. I actually got out of criminal law because I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown, of course civil was bad but not as bad IMO.

You are right, I have not. My children and grandchildren are all living.ahem.

But FWIW, I have acted as a Guardian Ad Litem and what some of these babies have gone through has made me physically ill. I am a cynical biatch.

ITA ... IMO the testimony and evidence she tried to avoid seeing and listening to really got to her ... but not in a remorseful sort of way ... more like the panic attack she had when Caylee's remains were found .... she may have realized how bad this part of the evidence looks for her and witnessed reactions in the court room ... maybe now she knows she's screwed ??

I sure wish the jail and court would STOP catering to her !! SHE is not the victim !! SHE is not the one to feel sorry for !!
What's to stop her from pulling this whenever the really bad evidence is being shown ?? .... :banghead:

Only taking this time to avoid appellate issues.....That's all HHJP is doing...he's used to what guilty folks get up to...

Well said. The jury has already been told that Casey was there with Caylee when she 'was found' dead. So how does this little skull end up in a dump with duct tape wrapped all the way around her head? ICA should be sick right now.

p.s. My lovely feline was 22 years with us as well. I know exactly how you felt saying goodbye. We had an appt with the vet on a Monday, and she died in her sleep on Sunday night. Bless her sweet Burmese soul.

I'm still working up to forcing myself to say goodbye. I can't seem to bring myself to make the appointment, though I know I can't put it off much longer. Not fair to her. I HAVE to do this.

(And that's all I'm going to say about that, because I can't cry over anything else today. Not Caylee, not Jezebel, not the stupid plumbers.)

Gotta agree with Bill S and many here, that she probably is feeling pretty ill....or is having and emotional break. BUT, I believe it is because she is facing the reality of her actions, and the consequences of placing the baby in that area..

I am sure she wanted to believe and maybe convinced herself that little Caylee rested in the bag undisturbed, preserved....but now that everyone is seeing what really happened to Caylee's little body is too much for her to handle.

I don't think she has a panic disorder though. If it's a panic disorder if would show up a lot right? Let's think back to Cindy frantic 911 call: Casey cool as a cucumber. Casey being interrogated by two forceful police officers: Casey cool as a cucumber. Casey being placed in handcuffs: Chilling

Smiling as if she didn't have a missing child. Casey talking to her parents in jail: laughing. Nope, she doesn't have a panic disorder. She wanted to run from this today.

She saw her childs Skull!!!!!!!

I just asked over the in lawyer thread about Casey and her sudden illness today. So we'll see what the lawyerly types say about this.[/QUOT
Does anyone really need to know what a lawyer thinks of this pitiful move?

Sorry, not being snarky, but how obvious can you be?
Do not think that the jury will buy this latest attempt at drama.
They know what is going on.
As much as the media would like us to think that there is some hope of aquittal, the jury is madeup of all of us. They are not buying this act of drama at all, imo.
The only thing that may come this is they will be more angry that she is trying to pull something.

JB, You are not Johnny Cochran or anyone of that ilk.
CM, are you having fun yet? da

Sorry, my spelling sucks today

I do not believe she made herself sick. She's a sociopath and there number one way to get attention is to attract pity. This is all about her. She wasn't sick when she partied for 31 days. The smell of decomp didn't make her sick. I think she was just sick of hearing Caylee all day...How dare someone take the limelight away from her...How dare someone like Caylee upstage her!!!! The nerve!!!!

Maybe JB should say ... does this photo refresh your memory ICA?

ITA - she wasn't faking, but I think she was remembering how disgusting the sight and smell of Caylee was - her mind took her there whether she wanted it to or not.

Naaa. Respectfully disagree. She fakes everything. The process wasn't disgusting to her. It was just something she had to deal with to get on to the next step. Caylee was a piece of trash to her, an object to be disposed of. A means to an end. Only emotion she had was to hurry up and get to bed with TL, stop at Blockbuster, eat popcorn, etc... Hard to believe, I know, but that is how a sociopath operates. Like Bundy. Victims were objects.

What can I say about ICA's courtroom antics other than.....All The Worlds A Stage JMHO

Well Thanks to ICA's melt down, I have to go vacuum the pool. Hubby said since court was over early, it was my turn. pppfffffftttttttttt! Reason #68796059445 to smack her.

This would be a good night for Judge Perry to have a special movie night for the jury - some light-hearted comedy to lift their spirits.

Don't want the jurors to be miserable but honestly hoping the jury reflects and gives thoughtful deliberation to what they saw and heard in the courtroom today.

Hope they search their hearts and minds and reflect on what Caylee went through and not the defendant who lives and breathes and comes to court in nice clothes (??) has 5 or 6 attorneys and 3 meals a day and the opportunity to be judged by a jury of her peers.

wftv.com is about to show KC being ill

Nevermind, didn't show anything, just said she was getting ill
