She may not have been faking her ""illness"" - She is a controller, it finally got to her that every evil thing she did is coming to the surface and "they" are not going along with her stories. This is her frustration and loss of control and it makes her sick... It may not have dawned on her tomorrow is another day. The judge will not allow this to continue.

On the upside of this emotionally draining day (at least for us here at WS)-Sunny Hostin on HLN (who is extremely pro-defense) was talking with Mike Galanos and said today was a devastating day for the defense and she is not sure if they can recover from it!!:truce:
I think today was a turning point or tipping point for many. Many were able to actually see or hear how Caylee's beauty and innocence were reduced to remains after being assaulted by scavengers and mother nature because her light was snuffed out and she was discarded in the most disrespectful and evil way that a human could do to a fellow human-much less a mother to her child!!!:maddening:

I think ICA is really sick. I think she made herself sick as she relived what she did. Guilt will make you very sick, it can disable you. Usually nausea is connected with fear, pain with guilt. I think we were seeing nausea - which makes sense with ICA. Fear of what is going to happen to her as she sees the evidence pile up. The illness is real, IMO, but pay attention to the cause.
When she heard the news of Caylee's remains being found, she complained of the chains (shackles) being too tight and hurting - that was guilt IMO.
Today was fear for herself.

IMO Casey doesn't feel guilt.

A little pre-performance before the jailhouse video of her breaking down when Caylee was discovered?

The encore of course will be during the viewing of the jailhouse video............
I would LOVE to think these were anxiety attacks based on the essence of reality seeping into her soulless psyche.............

The jailhouse video of ICA breaking down when she learned that remains were found on Suburban Drive has been sealed by the court and won't be shown during the trial. I doubt we'll ever see that video as it will remain sealed pending appeals.

Plea deals taking off table in Dec when Caylee's remain were found.

I don't know why people (not you robotdog) talk about pleas, there is no plea!

People the State of Florida has enough on ICA to put the needle in her arm.

Respectfully, while I do not think the state would take a plea to her now, they would be open to taking a plea if the DT came to them. The state wouldn't offer anything as generous as past offers, but I still think they would offer something. :cow:

Sad but true....When I was in the Army I was stationed at Ft Devens,MA. It closed downLocal prison took over base hospital.Hospital had to be refurbished because it did not meet prisioner statards.....Mind you it met soldier standards(who went to war and fought and died) for years......:waitasec:

That reminds me, and I apologize for going OT. When I broke my ankle I ended up in an icky hospital in Bakersfield (by a prison). Ummm...I was in the hallway in a bed, while the inmates had the rooms. Now what is wrong with THAT picture. I didn't even get a privacy screen, but lots of ga ga eyes as the inmates wheeled past me. I was horrified and literally hobbled out of there as fast as I could. Oh it's good to be back in La Jolla!

I'm glad CA wasn't in court today to see & hear this evidence.

However, I firmly believe that IF CA had been present, we would have seen what real grief/horror looks like, in contrast to the counterfeit display KC put on for the benefit of the jury.

Helicopters? Van? What if someone brought ICA suicide pills!

I have to say, I am really not the snarky type. Sometimes I enjoy reading other's comments and enjoy them. But I have never posted such strong feelings as I have here. ICA and her deed have really gotten to me. It is bringing out the inner snark I suppose!

I have not been here long... but I DO so appreciate everyone's comments. Thank you to the members and Mods! :rocker:

I guess it's because very few people here have never been to a murder trial or even prepared for one. You don't eat, sleep, and your stress level is beyond high. You have a back ache that even a shot of morphine wouldn't help. I actually got out of criminal law because I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown, of course civil was bad but not as bad IMO.

Civil trials are also not a walk in the park either. Every day I had trial they would be 16-20 hour days 7 days a week. Even on days Court was dark. We were constantly working 24 hours a day. You would have a day time crew and then a night crew. It's insane work.

Trials really are so much work and you're right your stress level goes through the roof.

Didn't the Judge order Michael Jackson back to the courthouse right after his release from the hospital? I recall him showing up in pajamas. Hopefully, HHJP won't late ICA get away with any foolishness.

:rocker: I agree ...

This was definitely orchestrated by the DT and ICA so the "talking heads" would NOT focus on the crime scene photos.

The DT and ICA want the "talking heads" to focus on ICA -- not the fantastic job the SA Team did and the damning evidence which will seal ICA's fate -- LWOP or DP !!

Did anyone else notice this - or did I miss it already posted?
Just after recess was called, DT and deputy asked ICA if she was okay - did she need to go out.
She shook her head just like she does when the asked her at any recess if she has to pee or whatever. I saw her say"No - I'm okay."
I think maybe she got sick all the sudden when she realized some people believed she was ill she might be able to escape. I'll be surprised if she doesn't try to drag it out.

Also, why did HHBP make that announcement to the media but? Because of Sunshine Law?

.

I think this stunt was pre-planned by Jose just as the JB delay during the jury selection. I truly believe this was orchestrated by the defense team not just ICA doing.

I think you are absolutely correct. Just like Jose's little 'personal' excuse during jury selection. He left 'sick' at midday only to be seen laughing it up standing near his car in a parking lot while speaking with other defense attorneys, while everyone else was dismissed for the day. Do their little tactics never cease?

Well, what if it was food poisoning? I hope the infirmary gives her an emetic... :D

She's not HALF as ill as she will be feeling when execution day comes and she feels herself get strapped down to that gurney. :loser: Today will feel like a day at the ballpark compared to then!
