I truly do not want to copy over any of the images that WSers have come up with regarding the duct tape. But when the Sidebar closes I do hope that some of you will mosey on over and see what was sleuthed out regarding those three strips over Caylee's little face.

Has anyone figured out who Judge Perry was on phone with?? I was wondering if he was making plans for jury or notifying jail ICA as coming back ?/

My guess is he was notifying someone to call the prison that he had an emergency in the court room with Casey, and that she needed transport back to the prison promptly. They would not have been there for transport for another 1.5 hours or 5pm.

She has seen them, may have been re-viewing them again today or any day in Court. We don't know. She has to have been shown them long ago.

I only wonder what the elements removed, I think there was more duct tape or something else to the actual moment, not just duct tape and chloroform. That would not send a big enough message for KC. Good Grief! Why am I thinking about what KC would do??!

I'd be very very surprised if the DT had not previously shown her these photographs - and think they would be remiss as a Defense Team if they did not properly prepare her for this phase.

Maybe what bothered her was the world was seeing them and looking at her and knew she had done this terrible thing.

But I'll also guess the DT threw in the caveat to say she had not seen them in case she pulled a freak-out on them. They wanted the way "paved" before it happened.

BBM-Exactly. I tried to explain that in a post earlier. You said it much better than me. She didn't even remove her sweater.

As she left the courtroom she held onto the chairs and acted like she couldn't walk. The deputies held onto her as she wobbled out like she had a broken leg. Puuullleease, the defense should have spent some money on some acting lessons.

that would explain why no one seemed real concerned yet ICA didnt want to stand or walk, and why HHJP was so quick to let them loose for the day. she couldnt just sit there with poopy pants.

I've gotten a lot of mileage out of that line, "Oh, the Susan Hayward of it all!" which is not original. It's from My Best Friend's Wedding - a favorite film - and is so true. Susan Hayward was the personification of a Drama Queen in all of her screen appearances. Most notable was her portrayal of a woman on death row in I Want To Live. How coincidental is that?

The mock juror would like to know if she can read the autopsy reports, since she didn't get to see pics today, and had a hard time following what the ME was saying, since she had no point of reference.

We all have a past and God forbid if I ever happened upon something like this..

I mean I wasn't a criminal but I am on unemployment does that mean I would hide a body for money. I have been married 3xs . ect... I don't know how to say what I am trying tom say but I think You understand my drift.
I really do not believe Kronk had a thing to do with hiding Caylee.

I think RK just knew inside she was out there somewhere... and I will tell you I did google searches of the area before they found the body and there was alot of water and different places so close by but that does not mean I hid the body I just knew she would be found close like so many others are found.

Yes, my point was that if they put duct tape on her to keep body fluids from leaking out then why didn't the put duct tape on all of her orifices. In other words putting duct tape on to keep fluids from leaking out is BS.

To stop body fluids from leaking out is BS anyway. IMO

This is what bother's me as much as Caylee not being alive. Why on earth would a meter reader move a body? Really? Do they really think that this is going to go over well with the jury after watching Casey today move her head away from pictures that showed the "log?"
Casey put Caylee behind that log in an attempt to cover up a murder, she was hoping Caylee would never be found. The jury had to have seen those reactions from her today.
The more they lay blame, the further the needle goes into her veins.

Thinking the same thing about the log. Do you also think there was pre-existing hollow under those roots that provided an easier hidey hole for ICA?

Complete circle around Caylee's head.

I missed most of today's testimony and have only seen some commentary (and you know how reliable I'm going to consider that!).

So I'm confused - all along we have heard of the "three pieces" of duct tape covering the mouth and nose and in Caylee's hair. Now it seems like some of the TH's are saying that the duct tape was wrapped all the way around the head.

So which is it? What was testified to about the duct tape regarding this?

That is what I recall, and what made him a target. However, he kept calling the police and no one would look b/c of water, snakes?, crank calls, whatever the reason.

After seeing, well hearing about, the photos, I think he "kicked" the bag with his fellow employee as witness.

Of course, all of that could have been media spin too, guess we shall see.

I Want To Live is one of my favorite movies, so it was the first thing I thought of when I read your post. That's what made me laugh.
